We have been waiting an hour at my RE to get an u/s, MH is going to lose his mind (me, too). I mean there's nothing we can do, we aren't leaving...but it's beyond frustrating. MH has tons of work to do and no one has given us any idea when we'll even get seen.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

Ugh have been there. MH gets super annoyed and stresses me out. Haha I'm just used to waiting. Not only at the REs, but the OB/gyn as well.
wannabmama - That's just ridiculous. If they can't get you in within a reasonable amount of time, I think they should let you come back at a set time later. That still would be a PITA but at least you could run an errand or something?

I knew as soon as I typed that, they'd get us in, ha...but now we are waiting to meet with the RE. We did see two babies and two heartbeats, though!! Just waiting to talk to doc to make sure things are on track...but the little flickers were pretty amazing!

@katerli - Probably a baked potato and fish. Depends on H. He flies back in tonight right at dinnertime. If he's hungry, I'll stop and get fish. If not, we'll just do loaded baked potatoes. I'm not into dinner very much right now.
I haven't really wanted alcohol this entire pregnancy. Today I want a drink. I might settle for a small glass of wine later when H is home, but I really want my good bourbon, straight up.
I wish I was wearing my Toms right now. So cold out.
As it turns out, none of my shoes fit. Not even the riding boots I was wearing yesterday. They wouldn't even zip. So I'm out doing errands in flip flops. I shit you not.
Oh no! Hope it's not cold where you are, at least? New shoes, stat!
Will our feet go back to normal after a while? I'm afraid of this happening because I have issues finding shoes which fit as it is!

Your feet can permanently grow a size, but generally if it's swelling it goes away. My feet were swollen at the end of my last pregnancy, then went back to normal.

Everything about this day, including the 3 hour meeting I just got out of, has left me feeling icky and really depressed. I hate this feeling, and I can't even talk to anyone about it because I can't pinpoint what has me feeling so unhappy right now.
Sorry you're down, akraus2015. The thick blanket of fog here right now is mirroring my feelings.
Its been like that here for two days. I always struggle to keep my mood up during these winter months. I know that SAD tends to peak in January/February, but bring pregnant seems to be intensifying it this year for me.

Oh man, I get the SAD too. I moved here from the sunny south and the first winter was one where we didn't see the sun for weeks at a time. I couldn't figure out why I felt so down and like crap. Definitely affects you!

Ive been begging my husband to move somewhere sunnier since we got married. My SAD was significantly less noticeable when I lived in Denver because it's sunny there like ~300 days a year.

I'm in Massachusetts. Luckily it's a balmy 42 degrees out today.
That's my question! Like, I know the swelling will go away, but I hear they also get bigger too...this is my new fear.
Mine swelled a lot with DS1, to the point that I only wore sandals or slippers for a few months... the swelling went away a few weeks after birth. Mine didn't grow, just swelled

I'm so hungry...appt took two and a half hours and so MH lost his mind. We are at his office so he can wrap things up before we head to CA tomorrow. He's so grumpy I'm trying to just let him work it out...but I am getting HANGRY over here!

I got the small version for like $40, they have a more powerful version that's still available.
Did it work?
I felt better when I used it but I don't think I had diagnosable SAD, just the winter blahs from not seeing the sun (I left for work before sun rise, got home after sunset and my cubicle didn't have direct light). My desk got moved so it wasn't an issue the following year.
I'd say it's worth looking into the product review for it at least
