So apparently I was fucking exhausted. H took the monitor last night. I was watching a movie in bed ands fell asleep at 8:30 and just got up at 7:30. Both H and M are still sleeping. I'm sure that won't last long, but this is nice.
I've got to work on my thesis today ands later we're going to a friend's house to watch the Falcons play. I have exactly zero interest in the game, but love a chance to hang out with our friends.
Oh goodness @mrspanpan, can you guys catch a fucking break! I hope it's just a little sniffle that passes soon. Is he teething? M gets the congestion and snot when he's teething most times.
@mrspanpan noooooooooo!! Eleventy! I'm so sorry. Fx it's just teething and doesn't turn into anything more. And you're right he will be the healthiest kid in kindergarten. Also love the gif. I miss that show.

@mrspanpan , as a casual observer of kindergartners (my oldest is one), the kids who stayed home or were formerly homeschooled get hit the hardest. My little demons are exceptionally healthy...possibly because they eat and touch all the wrong things. My youngest was licking the oven door because the pizza was taking too long. As you do.
Folded a load of towels. H finally woke up and I'm now sitting in my bathroom with a charcoal mask on before I shower. I'll be with the kids all day so he's hanging with them this morning. Planning on early lunch and nap so we can leave at a reasonable time this afternoon
I'm here. And dying. Probably shipping N off to the ILs for a bit so I can rest. I haven't had the flu before but I feel like I've been hit by a truck.

@mrspanpan his immune system will definitely be rock solid once he starts school! Have you talked to the daycare workers about how much he gets sick? Maybe they could up their cleaning game...
MH Is switched jobs and he just got his paystub for his last check. They have to pay him out all his unused vacation days and the check is going to be sweeeet. That was a pleasant Sunday morning surprise when we checked the mail.

@mrspanpan I know I said this already but S1 was always sick with a cold for his first 2-2.5 years when in daycare. He's never sick now. *knock on wood* he starts kindergarten next year. That doesn't help you now though. Having a sick kid is tough.
