It's after 8 and G is still sleeping. This is very rare. She was up partying for about an hour last night but she usually still gets up by 7:30. I however have been up since 4...for no reason.
I thought I'd be wrecked today but apparently all I needed was a hot shower and some sleep. M slept until 9:15! But I think she has a fever and had one last night. Not positive since she won't let me get near her with the thermometer.
linny12 Forgive me for prying but what do your parents think about this?
They're upset that it's happening. They love him, but they aren't happy right now.
He gets it from his mom, and they see that. Like when I joined a gym she asked if I could go there just to shower to save on our water bill... so H has only known to be extremely frugal.
I think my mom kinda likes having me home though, and not going to lie, I look forward to it too. She's my best friend, we have a lot of fun.
I am glad you have your parents to go to. Your whole situation seems very difficult and I hope that changes soon. Please remember that your voice is equal to his; what you want and need matters.
Is anyone else frustrated with how many people are complaining about the March, or saying they don't support it when they haven't even read the mission to try to understand what it's about?
I don't engage with people about politics on social media but I was really tempted yesterday. A girl I went to high school with and still occasionally see posted a ton of stuff to Instagram recently and it's frustrates me. She was at the inaugural ball and the inauguration itself. She posted yesterday that she thinks the marches are ridiculous because trump didn't take away anyone's rights in the 24 hours since he had become president. All I wanted to do was tell her to take a good look at his cabinet appointments and think about what most of them believe. Then I wanted to tell her that no one is marching because their rights have been taken away but because they want their voice her in regards to future policy making. There is so much more I wanted to say too but I refrained. There is really no point in arguing on the internet.

Exactly! It's been so hard to refrain! I just want to shake people and be like, ok- have whatever opinion you want, but at least research it first! ... but then again if people did that we wouldn't have needed to March. 😡
It truly pains me to see her posts. She has a son that is turning 1 next month and he is the cutest. I don't want to block her but ugh it's hard to look at.

Ugh this is my sister. She said, "I'm glad YOU went but it's not my thing." Like WUT?!
I've been feeling a lot less tolerance for her lately. She even went a far as to post on Facebook that the marches were a "distraction." A distraction from what? The flat earth theory that you've been obsessed with lately. Sorry that turned into a rant but I'm extremely frustrated.
Oh and that video of your ds melted my heart! I was smiling so hard.
Hey ladies! Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday!
I'm gathering things for a big consignment sale happening in my area in march. I have a Boba wrap that I've never used, but it's out of the box. I do have the instructions though. It retails for $40. What do y'all think is a fair price to sell it for?
$25
Thank you! I was thinking somewhere between $20-25, but wasn't sure if that would be too much.

....flat earth theory? Wut? I can't even.
And calling the marches a distraction is ridiculous. I have no coherent words.
At this point, I can't even believe we're from the same parents. It's really really bothering me too.
Someone on my FB was trying to tell me today that instead of working on purple districts for 2018 I should be working on gerrymandering or something. People are dumb. I don't care personally, but telling someone that a cause they want to be active for is wrong is not smart. That's how you discourage people from being active at all.
