We have a kid birthday party at an indoor pool today. I'm taking both kids and Baby R will be getting in the pool for the first time. We'll see how this goes haha.
I'd like to use my sling in the pool but I'm not sure if that would damage it.
We're going couch shopping today. I have been working on getting us ready to go for half an hour already and getting nowhere. Let's all lose our shit at the same time, everyone! Is it too early to drink?
Currently at home. There's a march here, but B has a nasty cold so I didn't want to take him out.
This afternoon is DS1's birthday party. Lots of my friends are coming from protests, so I hope they aren't late! Can't wait to see pictures from the rallies and marches though.

It's my birthday. I'm home with the kids while DH works but it's amazingly gorgeous outside. We took a nice walk and I think we will do the playground after lunch.
Part of me really wanted to attend the Chicago march but it's a bit too much to handle with two kids on my own. It looks like it's 225k people and so big they can no longer march. Now it's a rally!
Tonight I plan to take a bath for at least an hour. Tomorrow night we are going out to dinner. Yay weekend!
I wanted to do the march here, but the forecast called for downpours so I made other plans. Of course it's sunny! But I just love the involvement across the country. I'm there in spirit.
We finally found a babysitter so date night tonight. Very excited!
We bought a couch and it's going to be delivered Tuesday... surprised it's so quick! It's a sectional with a queen pull out in it which will solve our lack of guest room problem.

I have no patience for the baby today. After boycotting sleep last night she's now protesting naps even though she's obviously tired. I would put her in the car and drive around but she hates the car seat and screams all the time in the car. This weekend sucks.
Its a similar situation of here for the last week and a half. Little dude wont sleep for more than two hours at night. And is super hard to transfer to crib...then we start the whole process over i am living on 4 hours sleep most nights...and am so productive in general the rest of the day...sleep training maybe be in our very near future. He slept better as a newborn then now. I am so bewildered by how far and how quickly sleep has deteriorated in our house.
