@mrspanpan fuck!!! I think that encompasses my feelings pretyy well. I hope you feel better soon. Is there anyway you can reschedule the meetings for early next week or later this one?
Gonna have to catch up after I get DS sleeping. Those that are friends on FB may remember that K had surgery in the fall to remove a xanthogranuloma from her left eyelid. Just noticed a small mass on her right today and I think it looks the same as the other one did when it first started. Hoping maybe it is just a pimple, but realistically I know she could get more.
Also, no injury report from daycare, but she has two very clear bite marks on her right arm. One at the shoulder and one lower. 😭
Oh hell no! I hope they have an explanation for you in the morning.
H is going to mention it. He thinks maybe with the long sleeves and depending on if she cried they may just have not known. They are usually really good about it.
So on the sheet M gets with each appointment it gives different tips and such. This one said he should be moved out of his crib once he reaches 35 inches. Had anyone else ever heard that before? He measured 33.75 inches today, he grew over 3 inches in three months! He'll be out of his crib in no time if I follow that! Someone please tell me that's the silliest thing ever.

Maybe to reduce the climbing risk/falling off the crib? I think we transitioned DS around 2, maybe 3 (I would have to think back). I am not sure when we will transition K yet. I am thinking I want to get her a different bed and us the crib (changed into the bed) for DS. I am thinking a daybed or a loft/captains bed as a space saver.
And the stomach bug woes continue... DH gave Abigail blueberries this morning because he thought she was better. I came home after work today to learn that at the end of her afternoon nap she puked blueberries all over her crib. That was quite the cleanup. Her pants went straight in the trash but I was able to get the stains out of everything else, even her favorite white fuzzy blanket.
She was a miserable mess when I got home, and her temp was up to 102.5. We got through most of the evening somehow and then she just puked all over the changing pad while DH was getting her in her jammies. So now I have more puke to clean up. Ugh.
Oh, and there is still nasty pasty pale poop. She's pooped 5 or 6 times today and now has diaper rash as a result.
We'll go to the ped tomorrow morning but I'm pretty sure we just have to ride this out. Hopefully DH has at least learned not to feed blueberries to a kid with a stomach bug. Her crib looked like a crime scene.
Oh wow, aydee! We had strawberry puke when A was sick, but I think blueberry sounds worse! Glad you were able to get the stains out. And if nothing else, maybe the ped visit will bring peace of mind tomorrow.

Yeah I've heard you wait until they start flinging themselves out. Lots of kids wait until they're 3 so they must be taller than that!

We didn't transition the kids until sometime around their 3rd birthday. I'm not sure how tall they were, but their height wasn't even on my radar as a factor. From the time I thought they were getting ideas about climbing out, we talked to them about how they would fall down, get a big boo boo and cry if they tried to climb out. Needless to say they were too scared to attempt it.
If height is a concern relative to climbing out, I remember some people on my other BMB dropping the mattress down to the floor. I'll be keeping Abigail in her crib for at least another year no matter how tall she is (and she was 95th percentile for height at her 15 mo checkup). I don't trust her roaming around her room!

I don't know how tall S1 was when we transitioned but it was right before his 2nd birthday. He was trying to climb out. At one point he was straddling the crib rail but luckily fell into the crib and not into the floor
