I have to get my butt in gear for ds's 4th birthday party. It's in 3 weeks and I don't have much together. I think our menu will be meatballs and spaghetti, Cesar salad, and bread of some kind. I'll so fruit and maybe some chips and dips. The favors will be Mickey shaped rice crispy treats dipped half in pink chocolate. What do you think of that? Good party? Also, it's at noon. All the kids that will be there are pasta and salad lovers.
Sounds like a perfect 4th birthday party. Cake too though right? 🎂 (I just want dessert.)
Last week during my ultrasound the tech mentioned a cyst on my right ovary and asked if it had been causing me any pain. At the time I hadn't noticed anything... the past couple days it's been pretty uncomfortable! Like hurts to stand up straight after sitting for a bit, hurts after I pee from the pressure change in there. Anyone with experience in this? I had one last pregnancy too but it was earlier on and disappeared before it got this uncomfortable. I know they caaannnn twist or get really big. I'm just not sure at what point to be concerned. If it's still bad on Monday I'll probably call the doc for some guidance. Just curious if anyone else had this issue.
yes! I was diagnosed with PCOS over the summer. When I went for my first ultrasound, they found 2 cysts on my left ovary. I didn't think anything of it until I started having pains very similar to yours. I get the sharp pains when I cough or sneeze. It's been going on for years, I just didn't realize what it was. I haven't talked to my doctor about it, though.

I've had cysts my whole life also. They're no fun!

I've often had pain like that when I sneezed or cough too. Interesting. I always joked that I busted and ovary. It's not something I would have ever thought to talk to a doctor about.

I think I've had a revelation about maternity pants. The ones I have are too big. No wonder they don't stay up! I'm going to look into sizing down on pants.
I tried so hard to make it to 20 weeks before maternity pants but these babies had other ideas.

I gave in before 8 weeks but my pants are too big. I'm wearing a belt with the one pair and banking on an early spring so I can switch exclusively to skirts and flowey dresses. Come on spring!!!

All this. I cannot wait until warmer weather. All dresses all the time.

Ditto. I've got 3 pairs of maternity pants I can wear to work and I'm hoping they get me through until it warms up. Then all dresses, all the time

+1. I have so many cute dresses waiting to come out of the closet!
