I didn't get to check back in here yesterday but I passed my 3 hr! Once again, my levels got critically low by the last blood draw (normal range was something like 70-110, mine was 40) so I had to have an escort to the cafeteria to make sure I wouldn't pass out, but I passed!

ThankfulSnail that's the military healthcare for you lol. I'm not super worried about it. It was fine with DD and I haven't gained an absurd amount of weight and I'm measuring on track.
Although I dreamed my blood sugar was in the 300s last night.
Met the new realtor this morning. He seems very nice. After talking to him, though, it seems our last realtor was a little unconventional. I'm hoping this is a better fit for us, and we find something soon. DD fell asleep on the way home, so I cruised the farmland roads. She woke up after 45 minutes. Whomp whomp. I'm hoping to squeeze another small nap in, but who knows. Picking up DH from the airport this evening. That's all I got planned.

Holy shit you guys!!
I just found $150 babies r us gift card from two years ago with DD that we apparently never used. It accidentally got stuck in a box of keepsakes with her cards.

DH finally settled on the chocolate version of the vanilla pudding cake I was originally going to make. I just need to frost it when I get home. I can't wait to eat that cake... I mean, I really hope H likes it, since it's his birthday, after all.
H texted me at work and said he was craving crab Rangoon. My H hates seafood and cream cheese so I think he's got sympathy cravings. Because crab Rangoon is amazeballs but no where near us makes it, he bought all the ingredients for me to make it and we had crab Rangoon and seafood stir fry with xo sauce. I'm in seafood heaven right now.

ThankfulSnail no idea lol. I guess they'll call me if I didn't =P
That's so weird that they didn't tell you! They gave me the results right away after I did mine. Sucks to have to wait and wonder!
You're lucky. I had to wait a couple days after my one hour this time so they just sent me on my way and my sugars were actually only in the high 20s. Thankfully I made it to the bagel shop.
If I ever have to go through it again, I'll definitely go to the hospital lab so I know what's going on.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe they just let you walk out with your numbers that low! They didn't give you some real juice or a cookie or anything?
When I did the 3 hr the first time, they cut me off when my numbers were that low and had me skip the last blood draw, plus they give everyone a $5 voucher for the cafeteria and have you eat before they give you your results. This time was similar- I made it to the last blood draw but because my sugars were below 70s (44 I think) they had someone walk down there with me to make sure I wouldn't pass out. I can't believe they just let you walk out the door!

Had a really hard time waking up for clinicals. I woke up at 4am and was wide awake. Took two hours to fall back asleep then of course my body didn't want to get up when the alarm went off.

When I got my new job last February, I had DH take over monitoring our budget since I didn't have as much free time at work. Worked ok for a while, then starting in December he said he was going to start doing it from home. And by that, I guess he means not doing anything and maybe periodically checking our bank account. So we overdrafted twice last month.
I took the budget back starting today and realized we need a little extra $$ before next pay period to buy paint for DD's room. I suggested we trim our gas budget by $5/person/week and our grocery budget by $20/week. DH thinks instead we should just pay our mortgage 10 days late. Dude, do you not understand the purpose of budgeting?!

End rant.
Omg fucking men! DH took over our budget almost 3 years ago. He also did not understand the term "budgeting". He thought it was okay to pay his truck payment late (more than once!) to pay for something arbitrary. He also depleted our savings. Finally, I confronted him a year ago and we now both look over it and have weekly conversations about how much is going where. We also have a savings again.
(Background: I grew up in what would be considered a low income family. He grew up in a middle-upper class family. We just had to come to a meeting of the minds about our spending habits.)

Wow, raven, I'm sorry you've been through this, too! I've heard in every relationship there's a spender and a saver. I am definitely the saver and it sounds like you are, too. It's a frustrating position to be in!

ThankfulSnail I just wanted you to know you're not alone. . *creepy hug
He's definitely learned to be more of a "let's see if it can be fixed" instead of "just toss it and but a new one". Thank goodness.

To be fair they couldn't have known. They don't test anything at this particular lab, just collections and then they send all the samples out. I also was not showing symptoms that would have suggested I was that low. Definitely nauseous and light-headed, but steady on my feet and no prior history. I was pretty shocked when I got the number back.

sympkin, gotcha, that makes a lot more sense then. Both my clinic and the hospital lab I went to tested in-house, so that would definitely make a difference.

Good morning!!
Haha heisenberg the same thing happened when I went for my 1-hr. There was another second time momma and DD was all up in her space playing with her DS lol.
No huge plans for today. I need to run to the post office and DD has her first soccer session!!! I'm so freaking excited.
I'll probably just do fun stuff for the nursery in the afternoon. Since I got a lot of school work done last night.
