Good evening, ladies! I've been gone for quite some time, so I wanted to re-introduce myself to you. I hope to be a bit more active now than I have been, but I make no promises as life with 3 boys can, and usually is, crazy busy!
I'm MoreThanSparrows. I got married at 18, had my first son, M, at 19, and my second, E, just 2 years later. We waited about 5 years before deciding to try again and lost twins at 6 weeks gestation in December 2014. We tried again shortly thereafter, and, our rainbow baby J was born 2 years ago this Friday. M is 10, E is 8 - where in the world has the time gone??
I'm a runner when I have time/motivation, writer, movie-watcher, baker, mom, wife, office manager, and Christian. DH and I have now been married 11.5 years, together for just over 13. DH is the youth pastor at our church, and I help with administration, the youth, and I teach a Life 101 class in the summer for recent HS grads/college freshmen. It teaches them all the basics of life that high schools just don't cover, and many teens don't want to learn from their parents if the parents tried to teach it to them.
We are currently discussing trying for a girl. I absolutely love my boys, and can't imagine my life without them, but my heart aches for a daughter. Honestly, even if we had another boy, I'd love him just as much as I love the first 3.
We are also considering fostering/adopting, but that's just theoretical to us at this point.
I think that's about it. I look forward to getting to know you ladies and catching up with you all! Thanks for having me back!
