Anyone else still taking unisom? I tried to stop but went right back to nausea, no appetite, gross stomach, dry heaving... I'm running low on my prescription and I'm afraid my OB is going tell me I shouldn't need it anymore....
I'm still taking diclegis. I even just had to have my prescription renewed because I was out of refills and OB didn't have a problem with it. You can have nausea all 9 months they shouldn't give you hell about getting you some more! I haven't puked in about a month but still super nauseated at night and dry heaves in the morning. I take a zofran or phenergan a couple times a week still...I'll try to stop the diclegis when I go a while without having to take those.
OK so I have had a strange thing happen about a handful of times lately and I'm wondering if I'm the only one because I certainly did not experience this when I was pregnant with DD.
Every time I sneeze or have a large yawn, I get this crazy kick. I'm talking like 8th month of pregnancy size jab. Has this happened to anyone else?
lulu783, I have been getting some jabs to the uterus that feel like that. Not during any particular time, but they come out of nowhere and make me go "EFF". lol

Aside from the heartburn and still barfing, I'm having a ton of anxiety and awful nightmares.
I'm 18w today. Not feeling any movement yet (maybe once or twice but nothing consistent enough to know for sure). I'm borrowing a fetal Doppler from a friend on Friday so hopefully that helps with the anxiety until little dude gets moving more.

teachermomtobe I feel silly I didn't realize I could buy unisom haha. I might try half doses and see how it goes. I honestly don't even want to take it anymore!

@cheeze sorry you're still feeling sucky but I'm sort of glad I'm not the only one, if that makes sense. I'm worried what's going to happen when my stomach feels normal and dry heaving stops. Hello major weight gain, as there are so many things I love to eat but just can't.
brandiewine11 - No certain movement felt here either. But I keep reminding myself some women don't feel it until 24 weeks. Plenty of time for it to come. Plus your placenta could be in a weird spot and buffering it.

I have also only felt movement once or twice in the last two days and I am 20 weeks. Today confirmed my thoughts, I have an anterior placenta and so it may be a while before I consistent movements.
cateyes, I had an anterior placenta with my daughter. I don't think I felt anything consistently until 26 or so weeks. She also wasn't a big mover, so it was a pretty quiet pregnancy for me.
So the kicks and jabs I am talking about are definitely not regular kicks and jabs. They are related to me drawing air into/out my lungs (sneeze or yawn). It's almost like a spastic reaction from the baby to the noise/lack of space....or something.

agm04 thanks. Total opposite of last pregnancy when the dry heaving stopped at 12 weeks. I'm so thrown off by it and was feeling like maybe it's not normal... guess it's sticking around

I'm so over the dry heaving! I cannot brush my teeth in the morning without a good 5 minutes of the heaves. And I puked the other night out of nowhere after not having the pukes for almost a month. I was so sad! I keep telling myself this means he will be an easy baby, right?!!!

Sorry you're still not feeling great! I also keep dry heaving every morning when I brush my teeth. But it's just one or two heaves, not 5 minutes. It's still annoying.

So sorry for the struggles. I still experience the dry heaving when brushing teeth or moving to quick on an empty stomach. Hope it gets better for you soon!

Ugh that really sucks. I find now I'm only throwing up about once a week so it's a nice break. You totally deserve and easy baby!

Thanks-it honestly isn't terrible and mostly preventable. I am having a fairly easy time so far and am grateful for it. It's really my own fault when I go to long between meals.
Reviving this for a truly TMI one. I think I might have a hemorrhoid? Today wiping I had a spot of blood on the TP. Patted again and still there in one spot. Definitely not vaginal. If you've been there, do I need to have a doctor confirm it? Can I just look in a mirror myself and treat it at home? I don't have any pain (at least not yet), so I was thinking just some Vaseline maybe?
I was really hoping to avoid these. No idea what caused it. I've been taking my Colace and fiber regularly and haven't had any issues down there.
marshian. Use Tucks pads after pooping (I buy the generic ones) and get some over the counter hemorrhoid cream. Both were on the approved list of meds from my doctor.
I never had one until I gave birth to DD. But then I got one early on with this pregnancy.
If you're worried, contact your doctor. Otherwise I would just treat at home with over the counter meds (as long as your doctor has given you a list of ok things).
marshian I'm sorry - I got them in third tri last time for no apparent reason. Mine never bled but were super uncomfortable. I mentioned it to my doctor but she never checked herself. They went away after a bit then came back way worse after giving birth. I'm really hoping they stay away this time but am mentally prepared to deal with it at some point.
bewise - Thanks for the tips. I'm going to mention it to the midwife at my appointment on Friday. She gave me a list of approved meds so I'll start there.

I think baby was in a weird position this morning and on my cervix or something. I was very uncomfortable and I was walking like I had crazy sex last night (which was not the case!). I was going to call the OB but it went away after a few hours so she must have shifted positions. That wasn't enjoyable at all.
Here's a TMI: I've had really bad gas lately. Like clear the room bad. I went grocery shopping this weekend, and when I got back in my car, it still smelled like farts. So gross.
And why does my phone suggest an emoji for farts?? 💨
pinecone21 - Never knew there was an emoji for farts! My gas can be pretty bad, but mostly in amount and sound, not smell (at least for now). I guess Super Bowl snack food didn't sit well, because last night I woke up multiple times with just so much gas. Ugh.
Reviving this. This week my digestive system slowed down even more. I didn't think that was possible. I finally pooped today after 3+ days (I lost count) and Colace twice daily. Ugh.
