So Wayne's World is being shown is select theaters in February for 2 days for the 25th anniversary. H and I are fans (maybe a UO?) and will be making a date night out of it!
I'm so freaking tired today. I had some yucky indigestion last night and wanted to be in bed at like 8:30, but didn't go to bed til like 10. My tummy just feels icky today so I hope it gets better as the morning goes on. I really want to get some things done today around the house.
We are hopefully finishing our laundry room today. We sanded the ceiling last night after taking down the popcorn and mudding it the night before so now we just need to paint that along with the trim and do touch-ups. There's some areas along the trim that need to be repaired so I need to locate our wood filler. We at least have the washer/dryer back in there so I can catch up on laundry. DS is down to just a few diapers. I'll post a before/after pic once it's complete.

Ugh so I woke up with this horrible thing on my lip that I'm pretty sure is angular cheilitis... I had it last year and it was legit awful! It got so bad I could barely eat because I couldn't open my mouth without horrible pain. What's even worse is there are many possible causes so you never really know the best way to treat it.
Aside from that I have my PT evaluation this morning for my pelvis! Looking to get some answers for that!

rosesquared well it's not going to be REALLY nice, but it'll be much better that what it was before. I wouldn't mind some cabinets in there, but maybe that'll come later when we have $$ to spare.
We had an impromptu family date night last night. C was really good and we had a lot of fun. We're home with no plans for the day today so it'll just be cleaning and laundry. I'm also finally getting the urge to work on the new baby's room so I might start to go through some stuff we have stored in there. It's not too bad but I've been putting it off.
I don't have a nice laundry room so I don't do laundry.
I am planning on getting a portable washer and dryer for our upstairs bathroom for diapers.
This is actually the first apartment we've had with our own laundry room. Before this, we had laundry on a different floor in our building. Diaper laundry was challenging some days

Ours is in the basement and I don't like going down there so H does the laundry. I think he is happy with my own W/D set up.
I am having such a hard time making up my mind on a bassinet/PnP situation. It took me a long time to settle on the carseat/stroller situation so I guess one thing very slowly at a time...

Ughhhh and now our washer is leaking/overflowing from the back...like a lot of water so I'm guessing H didn't hook it up right. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

PirateCat, we went with a bassinet this time. We have a pnp but it takes up a lot of space in the bedroom so we wanted something smaller. DD slept in an RNP for the first 6 weeks and I knew I didn't want to do that again. We got the Chicco Lullago bassinet, which got is portable so it will be good when we go down to visit my in-laws as well.

BabyStandish, I'm in the same boat. Awful indigestion yesterday and constipation today. I just feel off. And of course I have such a craving for a turkey rueben sandwich for lunch, which would be awful on my stomach right now but it's all that sounds good.
I have my annual review at work today. I'm nervous but I think I've been doing good.
I think I'm going to go to target at lunch today... I need to return a couple of sweaters that I bought online. Hopefully that will calm my nerves before my review meeting

We used a PnP for DS (and it worked just fine) but it did take up a lot of space so we had to keep it on my husband's side of the bed which I didn't like. I'd really like one of those Halo bassinets but unless it rains money from the skies I don't think that will happen.
tortor4, ugh, too many. I want something we can use in our room but also travel with. I think I am leaning towards this Graco travel lite crib, which seems to be the most versatile. Fisher Price ultra-lite day&night play yard is intriguing and so lightweight but I'm not sure how I feel about the inclined sleeper situation and it seems they would grow it out if fast and it would be kind of a pain to clean without sheets (it's machine washable but what if there's an accident in the middle of the night?). I also like Graco Nimble Nook.
sleepymonkey, how long do you think he'll fit in the bassinet and once he outgrows it will he move into the nursery? We don't have specific plans for when we want to move the baby out of our room but I want to have the option of keeping him longer if that seemed best. I could probably also just fit the crib in our room for a while so that could also be an option...
lupincat, the Graco travel lite crib is a bit smaller than a standard PnP so that seems like it could be a good compromise for us. I figure I could always get a cheap/used regular-sized PnP later if we needed one after he outgrows the smaller one. We'll probably have to put it on H's side of the bed but we'll probably just switch sides at that point (I like my side now for frequent trips to the bathroom at night).
FIL ended up doing the entire first coat of paint on the nursery yesterday and came back to do the second today. It's actually starting to feel real now

Haha we're crazy and registering for both the gracco travel light crib (for downstairs and for travel) and the halo bassinet for our bedroom (upstairs). DW noticed yesterday that the halo I picked out is pink and I was like so what?! I'm still planning to use it for future kid2 even if a boy. I figure all our stuff will at least get 2 kids use so that makes it feel better lol.
