This isn't baby gear but I don't k ow where to put it...
Lifesaving for sure
I had one of these when I was pregnant with DS and I loved it! I want to get another one but DS sleeps with me for at least half the night. I don't want to kick him out just to have my pillow but I don't want to share either!
I think I'll need to get a new pillow. Does the leachco one stay pretty firm or do you need to fluff it up a lot? Last time I had the bump nest and I was constantly fluffing it and moving the stuffing around.
What double strollers do people like? We're gonna need to upgrade - something for both new baby and then DS1 who will be 2&1/2 when baby gets here. We currently have a single Chicco stroller than I would give a Solid C, maybe B- pending on the day.
We have the City Mini double stroller. I like it a lot!
I need help from all the STM's+ on a stroller and car seat. I'm so overwhelmed by all of the choices.
I have been looking at the Graco 4 Ever car seat, but I don't know if I like the idea that it isn't meant to come out of the car and attach to a stroller. We plan to baby wear frequently, so maybe that won't be a problem? Thoughts?? I hate carrying heavy things, so I can't imagine myself wanting to carry an infant seat around much anyway.
IF we go with the Graco car seat, then what stroller to choose??
Things I'm looking for in a stroller: - a jogger, because I have this wonderful idea in my head that I'll get back to running one day - not super heavy or bulky because I'm a tiny human and not very great at carrying heavy things - storage for diaper bag, water bottle, cell phone, etc., if we're out and about
I don't even know what other things to look for. What's important to you when choosing a stroller?
TIA for anyone who wants to help make my life choices!
For DD and DS, we used a Graco infant seat that pops onto the accompanying stroller. Those strollers are heavy though. Our infant seat is expired though so I need a new one. Since I have a double City Mini, I think I'm going to find a car seat that will click into that. I baby wear a lot, but I like using the stroller for walks around the neighborhood - for exercise and stuff like that. It's too hot down here to baby wear for long outside in the middle of the summer.

IMO the leachco was actually too stiff. But I like a soft pillow. You might like the thicker stuffing of the leachco.
When DS was just born some friends dropped off a rock n play for us to borrow since their LO didn't like it. I just texted last night that we needed to get it back to them before their new LO is born and they said to keep it. Yay! It's probably not something I would have bought but I'm glad to have it again.
Now, just need to text a different friend to see if they want their Ergo back... I have good friends.

Love this. My friend is lending us a mamaroo which I can guarantee we never would have paid for. She doesn't have the infant insert thing for it so I may pick that up myself.

Score on the momaroo! I know those are awesome but am way to cheap to buy myself.
Same with the Ergo infant insert. It's on my list to buy but want to make sure she isn't going to need it back first!
I know there was some talk of jogging strollers, but I have some questions.
H is a serious runner (he goes on 10-15 mile runs on Saturdays) and once baby is about 6 months, he wants to start taking him with him. Since it will be longer runs, he wants to get a good, fixed wheel jogger. I was wondering if anyone had any experience? We'll be looking at the reviews on baby gear lab, but it helps to hear real experiences!

Bob!! It's great to have the option of a fixed wheel or not. Have him to with you to BRU and try pushing a few around the store though. Not exactly the same, but handlebar height and such makes a difference.
+1 for a BOB! The revolution has the option of a rotating and a fixed front wheel. The ironman version is lighter weight with a fixed wheel only. We have the revolution flex and it's nice to be able to adjust the handlebar height.

I would go for the fixed wheel version not the revolution bob because of the length of his runs. Bob Ironman. The revolution is not intended for this type of use and I wouldn't recommend it. I would for the 5K casual jogger, but not for what he is looking to do.
There is also the Thule Glide which is an amazing product:
