Going to a birthday party today, so we'll have to stop at target on the way. I'll basically be picking out clothes I want for M in a bit, since my cousin passes his hand me downs to us. I ain't mad. It'll also be fun to see M playing with the kids now that he's running around like they are.
Currently M is playing with the dog, getting her to lick his hand. It's adorable.
Last couple days my H is home from his hip surgery. I'm going to miss having him around. Mira seems a little under the weather today though so the plan is to just take it easy and hopefully cuddle on the couch!

Swam laps and then did art and swim class with Poppy. She had a great time, as usual, until we were in the locker room. She took a tumble and ended up with a bloody lip. She's feeling better now— eating asparagus ravioli.
We're going to run to the farmers market and then head over to our old apartment (we technically still have it through Jan 31) so that Out of the Closet can pick up a big donation and we can clean up before we give the keys back.
Just deep cleaned the master bathroom. Doing laundry and cleaning today. H is spending his birthday with W (just how he wants it) so that's awesome. We have an award thing at the library today (1000 books before k) but it's right in the middle of his nap so I think we're going to skip it.
Cleaned 2 bathrooms and mopped house and hit up grocery store all before 10:30. About to walk into separate world with out kids to see Skillet. And my mom set off the smoke detector 10 mins after we left. Lol

No plans but definitely getting cabin fever. There is lots of stuff I could do today, but I really just want to go somewhere. I have had a travel bug for a month now and it is ridiculous. I tried to get some travel lit from the library haha. That's as close as I will be getting for a while.
But really when you have all the time in the world, there is no money. When you have money, there is no time.
I'm also finishing up W's art wall (with what I've bought so far). I definitely see things I could've done differently but I really like how it's turning out.
Doing laundry and packing- Allison and I leave for Chicago tonight. We'll be there until Wednesday and I'm really looking forward to not being home. I am bummed that my sister's only day off is Monday, but whatever. I'm still debating whether I should rent a car or not.

No car needed between buses, Uber, taxis and the L.

Chi town is my favorite place! Enjoy your time.
She lives in the suburbs so transportation isn't as easy as if she were in the actual city, but shes isn't too far from a train station and I can definitely get to the city to keep busy.
Tonight is my first night away from E! I know many of you have done this already but I haven't been ready until now. We just fully weaned about a week ago, so that was a big factor for me. I'm going to meet with some girls in the city for a night out! Although I have a bad cold (of course!) and I'm on the toddler sleep schedule, so I'll probably go back to the hotel earlier than the others. Since E will be home with DH, I won't be worrying about him (as much).
Then, for next month I asked DH if he wants to go away for a night for his b-day and I think we will! Last year was his 40th and we didn't do anything special so I hope this sort of makes up for it. My mom said she is up for an overnight.

Ooh— pic please!
You can definitely tell we had to keep things out of the crib reach but I really like the "final" product.
I'm sitting here in an empty waiting room while DS has speech and it is blissfully quiet.
Tonight our nanny is babysitting the kids so DH and I can go out to dinner by ourselves. I'm really looking forward to a nice meal at a "grownup" restaurant.
