Fit Test day!
I feel like "five day old jello" as one of the children's books we read puts it.
I did not beat my scores for the first 2 or 3 exercises (especially the pushups ... I feel like we have NOT been working to strengthen those muscles), so I was feeling bummed, but I guess that pushed me to beat my scores for the rest. All about competing with yourself!

I'm behind, so still five days out from the fit test, but I have a feeling I won't beat many of my scores either. Especially if I'm super sore leading up to the fit test. I think 15 days is a pretty short period to see results all around anyway.
I left my 5lb weights at work on Friday and had to use DH's 10b weights for my weekend workout. Good lord talk about riding the struggle bus. My L raises were so sad.
I hope that these workouts are changing my body, but for right now I'm extremely happy about how they are changing my mental outlook. This is the first time I've stuck with a routine this long and it is very uplifting to feel like I'm working hard to do something for myself each day. Between working out, changing my diet, and my declutter/organization challenge, I'm kinda feeling like superwoman lately.

I'm a few days behind. I'm going to try to do the fit test today and whatever the next day is. My long jumps are pathetic.
Yesterday X turned off the PlayStation 4 times while I was doing it. It's only an 18 minute video, kid! I reckon he'll be gated during it if he doesn't nap today.

I didn't realize until yesterday that my fit test was actually supposed to be today and not tomorrow like I originally thought. So, I hopped on the scale this morning and to my great pleasure, discovered that I have lost exactly 5 pounds in the last two weeks! My fit went okay, but I'm glad to have the motivating factor of the weight loss to keep me from feeling discouraged this early.
Day 1 (Day 15) Speed Squats: 48 (43) Push Ups: 20 modified (20 modified) and I seriously cannot go all the way down to the floor with these, so I try my best and count that because otherwise my count would be zero. I tried to go all the way down and just ended up face-planting, lol. Mountain Climbers: 54 (78) Static Lunge R: 24 (26) Static Lunge L: 26 (24) High Knees: 77 (100) Tricep Dips: 25 (28) Elbow Plank: 30s + 10 on knees (15s + 35 on knees)

I can't go all the way down to the floor either. "Proper" technique apparently is getting your elbows bent to 90 degrees or less. Less is more advanced.
I think I'm going to do some sort of separate pushup challenge to address this serious deficit I certainly have in this department.
