Is there such a thing as too many blueberries? This kid easily packs away a full handful in the morning, plus all his other breakfast. This morning was a shit ton of blueberries, two big strawberries, part of my muffin, and half of a jelly toast. I don't even know where he puts it all. Oh, and his usual 6 oz of formula.

Unless there are accompanied GI issues, I'd let him go to town!

I just got an email to expect discolored water in all sinks in my office building today. Umm, where are we supposed to wash our hands? I work in a ten story building that is an entire city block long. I have a feeling there will be very long lines for the little bathroom in the food court next door until this is fixed or we get to go home.

tkford216, I think the only concern with loads of blueberries could be the loads you may have to deal with later on, if you get my drift. Otherwise, I say let him go to town. When L eats with me I keep offering food until she starts playing more than eating, so if she want's 80 pieces of fruit, whatever, have at it girl.
swivelchair5, ugh, I hope things aren't too ridiculous and the water is back to normal soon.

Sick. Ugh, listening to kids cough, especially at night, is heartbreaking. DD1 was up half the night coughing. I told DH if there was anything that might help her at the pharmacy at work to pick it up.
Sick baby is sick. She woke up with a 104.7 fever. She isn't having any other symptoms, aside from being really tired and clingy. I'm bringing her in today to get her ears looked at. In other news the sleepover went fine. My sister already picked up B. Mil is picking up H in a half hour to take her to the library for story time.

Up all night with DD she is miserable with a fever.
Came in to work today and not even supposed to be working. I stayed for 4 hours because they were a bit short. Now I'm gonna go to the grocery store. I hate the grocery store.
swivelchair5 that sucks about the water. Do they at least have fresh drinking water provided?
The water fountains are on a different line due to this city's old history with lead pipes (which have since all been replaced). The problem looks fixed, but the hand sanitizer is getting a lot of use today.

I can only imagine all the germs floating around today, swivelchair5! I'm going to live in my pretend world and believe everyone *would* wash their hands if given the opportunity.

My daycare is across the street. Thursday all day we have a planned power outage apparently so we can't hear. Which after a while becomes a big issue. So she told me if by 8:30 no power don't bring him, because the little ones can't keep the layers on like the big kids. The only issue is that was he one day I had an appointment. She said well maybe it will be delayed til Friday, I said that's no better! I have to bake a cake! Lol

Back from the doctor and S has another double EI. I am so mad at DH's HR for not getting our insurance straightened out yet. She was supposed to have gotten tubes last week and if she had we wouldn't be dealing with this.

Sorry for all the sick, sad babies.
My husband says a shocking number of people don't wash their hands before leaving the bathroom at work. *shudder*

Well, baby is napping. He slept a little at daycare at least. He's been out for a bit so I started my ranchero sauce for enchiladas tonight, then made the most of it and made 4 more freezer meals (so far at 8 with 7 more planned) now to sit and impatiently wait for my delivery which should be coming today.

trtlcrzy sorry to S, poor girl. Is there an end in sight? I think I'd be calling to raise some heck to move it along.
This morning went by so fast for us, I'm not sure why. We were all up by 7 and before I knew it lunch time was here. I don't even feel like we did much. We read some books on the floor, I put snow in the water table, and DS went outside with the dogs for a bit. H came home and had lunch with us. Here's to hoping for a good nap now. DS has hockey tonight and DD and I will probably go watch just to get out of the house.
I feel like when I'm not working we just stay home for days on end. Bleh. There's nothing for me to take the kids to do in this stinkin town. It'll be so nice when spring comes, there will be much more for us to do.
Sorry for all the sick kiddos We were at the doctor on Friday. DD1 has been potty trained for 2 weeks and had a UTI already and DD2 had a yeast infection. Both are doing much better, thankfully! Today we are hanging out at home
I got a call from DH that he heard from HR and our insurance should be straightened out now. S is scheduled for her tube surgery next wed and I'm hoping nothing else will deter it.

My child is trying to kill me. He might be successful. He's been up since 7. It's 4:35. He's napped less than 30 minutes all day. Stands up as soon as I put him in the crib (in any state. Drowsy. Fully awake. Fully asleep). Generally just a large grump and lots of tantrums. Counting down the minutes until my husband is home.
I was finally able to put S down on the floor without her crying. I hope all the resting she's been doing is helping her feel better. Not gonna lie, I love all the snuggles though.
trtlcrzy I'm so sorry S is sick again and it's pretty much due to stupid insurance stuff! Boo. I hope the tubes fix the issue rivers and roads naps are SUCKING over here. I don't understand how my 1yo naps so much less than my 3yo. But she does. Consistently.
We had a nice day today (besides non napping super teething baby, but meh, she's fine). Library for meet up with my mom girlfriend, and then home for lunch and naps (sort of). And then I decided to call out of work tonight so I could go see my friend's new baby tomorrow while the kids are in school I feel a tiiiiiiiny bit guilty, but not too bad. I couldn't figure out any other way to go without kids (and not bringing my germ factories to the newborn) and we are busy the next two weekends. So I'm enjoying a glass of wine and relaxing instead of napping before work. And it's glorious

If I remember right, you're not with the CIO club, so maybe this means nothing to you, but when Bobby started doing this all the time, I just had to leave him in there and after a couple days he started to just sit and go to sleep on his own when he was ready (no crying or fussing, he'd just babble until tired and then go to sleep). Won't work for every kid I'm sure, but just a thought.

Thanks. We had actually finally gotten to a point of him being able to get himself to sleep in the crib last week. It was wonderful. He'd roll around babbling in his crib and play with his blanket until he fell asleep. Now he's just unable/unwilling to do it. He also woke up with a cold and Leap whatever-it-is is starting, so who knows. He's just reminding me to never feel too confident in my parenting.

Ugh. Yea we have days every so often that I'm like, "But we were doing so good!" and he's all *evil baby laugh.*
