Score! GMD had their second workhorses on sale about a week ago so I got some. Apparently they oversold their newborn sizes so I got first quality ones instead for super cheap.

Jealous! I tried to get newborn seconds and had them in my cart but when I went to the cart it was empty because they were already sold out.
A new glider! And then the rest is really a bunch of smaller stuff (swaddles, swaddle blankets, crib sheets, white noise machine, black out curtains for nursery).

Leaving work early today for a 16 week appointment. Not looking forward to driving 50+ miles home in rush hour, but I'll take it if it means I get out of the office a few hours early today.

Rant ahead...
There is one place in my town to do prenatal yoga (that I know of). I called on Thursday because their website says classes are monthly and you must sign up ahead of time. There was no option to sign up or pay online. No one ever called me back.
I called again this morning because the class is tonight and I want to go. The lady said the woman who teaches it does them independently now, so I have to speak directly to her. 4 1/2 hours later and still no one has called me back.
I'd just go somewhere else if I had other options, but I don't. Should I call back a 3rd time? Just show up tonight??
akraus2015 - That's obnoxious and a sure way to not gain new customers. I would just show up tonight and if anyone gives you a hard time, tell them you never heard back and didn't want to miss out. Maybe bring cash to pay to make it smoother?

She finally called me back...she clearly doesn't have her life together, which makes me weary of giving her a bunch of my money to start with, but she said the last class of each month is restorative prenatal yoga, and she said they only do like 5 poses and its super relaxed and not very intense. She kind of made it sound like laying on a mat for 90 minutes...so I think I'm just going to skip tonight and pay for the regular classes in February. I'm kind of disappointed. :/

aw sad I wanted the non-snap ones since I hear those fit better for when baby doesn't quite fit in the snaps, but those were all gone. Now I wish I got more since I got good ones for cheap.

Ugh. That stinks. And way to sell herself. I mean doesn't she want some money? I've been doing regular yoga and it hasn't been that bad. Whenever they do things I can't do I just either do modifications or do my own thing until they move on. My teacher is also certified in prenatal so she showed me a couple things today after I finally told her I'm pregnant after class today

+1. She comes off not too committed? I don't blame you for not wanting to pay up front. I would ask if you can pay for one class as a trial and then commit to the rest of the month.

She told me on the phone that the class is almost always full, so maybe she doesn't really care if she gets new clients or not?
I think my boobs are getting bigger. My bra looks fuller. And they feel different. This is all so weird.
Oh gosh. Mine are huge already. I had to buy new bras the other day and I noticed last night that I've already ripped the inside seam of one of them. I seriously hate looking at my boobs in the mirror. They're so gross.
No I'm spiraling on diaper bag lists and organizing videos. Is this what nesting is?
Yes! I YouTubed my diaper bag to see how other moms were organizing it. Im super Type A so I keep having to remind myself that this is a fluid process and things will always be moved/reorganized as we learn more and experience things.
On my list:
Extra diapers (8-10) Wipes Lotions (diaper creams, etc) Wipe down change pad Change of clothes (2 NB and 2 3mo to start) Paci Paci clips Dog bags for dirty diapers Hand sanitizer Blankets (2) - to be used as blankets or nursing covers Toys/teethers (age appropriate) 1st aid kit Medicines - Tylenol, gripe water and simethicone Burp cloths An extra shirt for me Large and small ziplocks for dirty clothes, etc Mittens/socks Face/paci wipes Hair ties for me (and eventually baby girls)
Also - I keep a pocket available for my wristlets, lotions, chopsticks, etc.
I may add pumping stuff if needed, or bottles/formula to external bottle holders if applicable.
I have the skip hop duo double signature.
Oh good! Your list is almost identical to mine! I have the skip hop forms backpack. It's not huge but I think it'll work for now.
Diaper Bag: 8-12 diapers 1 container of wipes 4 burp cloths 2 extra outfits + socks nursing cover 2 blankets changing pad Doggy waste bags 2 pacis boogie wipes diaper cream gas drops extra shirt for mom hand sanitizer baby toys/teethers breast pads
And then I'll add nursing/feeding stuff to that list once I figure out what works for us.

You guys were really scaring me with these lists until I remembered you're each having two babies.

It doesn't help that I'm also an overpacker. Mom of twins+overpacker....scary. I even plan on keeping a bin of extra stuff in the car just in case lol.
mustloveerica and @wineandcupcakes, what diaper bags are you guys using?
I have the Skip Hop Forma Backpack. I'm not sure it will be large enough for twins but I figure it's a good start. It opens really large so you can see everything inside which I love and also has a bunch of pockets for organizing.

Those are both really cute! I have my heart set on a Lily Jade bag but H keeps telling me no. I very rarely do things without his "permission", but I honestly might just buy one anyway and he can suck it.

Hi everyone! I'm back from vacay and trying to get back to working mindset...had to get up early for jury duty (was thankfully excused) but it messed up my whole day. Now I just want to nap...for three days.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I don't even carry a purse IRL so I didn't want to spend a ton on a diaper bag. I really wanted a backpack style. That was kind of my only criteria. And DH said nothing pink because he'll be carrying it too haha. I figure I'll see how this one goes and I can upgrade to a nicer one if needed.
Mine haven't gotten bigger but my areolas and nipples are so so very dark. It looks so odd against my pale Irish skin.
It should fade. By the time DS1 was one, I couldn't even tell they were super dark or grew exponentially..
@wineandcupcakes - Mine have started to get darker as well. I'm also super pale so it looks very strange. They were more pink before and now they're brownish.

I was getting a little overwhelmed too, then also remembered you guys are twin moms. Plus I've been called a minimalist by friends, even though I like to be prepared, so I haven't even bothered looking at diaper bags or thinking about what goes in them.

I've gone through 5 different diaper bags... we finally settled on a regular LL Bean backpack lol

Nice! My plan is to just get a nice smallish backpack and shove in a few diapers, wipes, spare onesie and be done with it. I need the space mostly for my camera because I'm sure I won't want to be without it with a little one doing cute things (and I already take it most places).
I'm pretty breezy about it, though. Just going around town I won't be anywhere I can't get something in an emergency.
Pack for a trip to somewhere away from stores, however, and I'm sure I'll bring more.

I got a SkipHop Pronto - if we're going somewhere and will need more stuff, I'm repurposing an old Jansport backpack. When I go back to work I might swap between that and a tote bag to bring milk/clothes to and from daycare, since I usually carry my work laptop in a backpack and I'm hoping to babywear if I have to commute with baby.
