I finally found a way to do tummy time that isn't a total shit show! Hopefully this counts. DD is awesome at keeping her head up, but DS is still learning.
Omg requiressnacks that is just the cutest tummy Time picture!!!
From my understanding, tummy time counts as long as they're awake and on their tummy. On my home visit from the nurse she said even having the baby on your chest counts.
Looks like they're both doing great at keeping their heads up
Phew! I try to put them down on the play mat and they get pissed 😡
requiressnacks they might like the playmat as they get bigger. DS enjoyed the vibrating chair for the first time yesterday. It made me a very happy mommy that I have somewhere else to put him
They love the Kick & Play Piano thing, but only on their backs and only when fed and not tired. Mine love the bouncers! And yes, so helpful to have places to put them down.

I'm at the daycare right now waiting to pay. The women are so nice and Jane is happy but I'm a wreck. I need to get into my truck so I can cry. this is my current favorite pic.
She is doing a lot better today. The mylicon at every feeding is helping a lot. She's back to having productive burps, hopefully the major spitting up stop soon too.
My boobs have exploded. It's going on 4 hrs since Alex last nursed. He ate at 7 and then fell asleep when we left the house at 8:30.
I invited my sister to lunch. I've been tidying up and cleaning. But keep coming back to Alex thinking he'll wake up. I should start getting lunch ready. I'm making tacos.
@kc295905 yh has got some nerve. I fight with my h about his time away esp when alcohol is involved. Once he starts drinking I don't trust him to help with the kids esp baby.
My leave ends the 24th. I dreamt last night that I showed up at work and no one wanted to talk to me. lol
and to make a crappy day worse, my friend texted me that her son (who we went to the rec with yesterday) woke up with a barking cough and just tested positive for RSV. I'm so worried N will get it 😔
Oh no! Hopefully he doesn't get it. I've seen so many people on Facebook talking about it.
Cora and I drove to a friends house in IL last night because she was having a crisis. We got home around midnight and totally screwed up her usual 10:30ish bedtime routine. It took her forever to settle down once we went to bed, but then she slept until 6am, and went back to sleep until 10 after eating.
I keep seeing you guys mention babies liking the vibrating bouncers, so I put batteries in her bouncer chair to give it a shot this morning. No go. It took her about a half an hour to forgive me for trying it.
If anyone is feeding their babies Enfagrow, Target Cartwheel has a $4 off coupon, plus 20% off of Enfagrow. And I think I saw yesterday that they're doing the $25 gift card if you spend $100 on diapers, formula and baby food.
And speaking of formula/bottles, I tried this this morning when I had 8 bottles to wash and the kitchen to clean (since no one bothered to do it last night while I was out). I put the stuff in to soak while I took 15 minutes to do everything else, and rinsed when I was done and they were amazingly clean! I put the nipples and rings in a bowl with the same solution while the bottles soaked. www.hometalk.com/4005737/baby-bottle-cleaning-hack
And a baby because it's Wednesday! This is after she finally settled down from the vibrating chair incident. I think she was still frowning.

I know 2 people whose LO's have had it. One is a December baby and she ended up in the PICU for 10 days. Scary stuff!

Ugh....no bueno.
And I'm sorry about YH spending all of his time away from home. That is so frustrating. On so many levels.

requiressnacks, omg your lil peanuts! Look at them..they are so big!
mrsp121308, haha my DD didn't mind them till she could grab and then it was nope. lol. I fight now to do her hair, she looks like she has been wind beaten most the time.. lol.
@kc295905, OMG look at him..he looks so big? Or is that just the picture.

I made it! I picked Jane up about 30 minutes earlier then I told myself I should. She's great and she had a good time. the ladies are really nice and I'm not jittery anymore. She was eating when I came so I paid for the month and they finished feeding her and then she slept. When she woke up at home she grinned so big as I talked to her. My heart swelled. Why is this so hard?

AND, they have her crib as one of the top ones, so there's nothing above her. I'm so thrilled. The only thing I'm not too happy about, but am reprimanding myself about is that she smells like the daycare now. It's not bad, but I don't like it. I'm letting her sleep on me to undo it.
This baby has been sleeping all day. What a complete 180 from yesterday. Woke up at noon and didn't want to eat. He played happily for an hr but by 1 got cranky. Nursed off and on for 40 min but was mostly interested in sleeping. Currently sleeping in my arms but trying to put him in his pnp. I've startled him twice laughing out loud at my show. : D

does anyone's baby do this? She snuggles into my chest and then stops when her nose is flat to my skin. I always move her head thinking she's going to suffocate.
littlelion I was just about to write about what a difference a day can make. We've had two solid naps today and minimal spit up. I took a nap earlier and now I'm reading some baby books. It's just night and day from yesterday where she didn't sleep at all until about 4pm.
