January was a sucky month with furnace problems and February isn't starting off great either with a flat tire. An uneventful week or two would be greatly appreciated at this point.
L moved up to the older infant room at DC. They make them wear shoes there and he HATES them. He refused to crawl in them the first day. It's pretty funny.
Both my LOs hate shoes with a passion. Socks too for that matter. It's a constant struggle of me putting them on just for them to rip them off.
There was a recent new wave of baby, babys at daycare, they are so tiny. It does not feel like that long ago with DS, yet he is so different than the young ones. Crazy how much they change in such a short time!

Can he wear those baby moccasins? That's what we did for shoes at first for my son when dc required shoes. They don't fall off and are comfy and lightweight.

I found some like that in his size, but he can't wear socks with them. Ordered some a size up to see if those will work.
Hopefully! Old Navy also usually has some cute soft soled baby shoes.
Sooooooo we are walking now! WTF! M took her first steps tonight! She will be 9.5 months Saturday! Ahhhhhhhh life is over!
What?? That's crazy! DD will be 11 months in a week and is great at cruising and going from one piece of furniture to another, but she is nowhere near walking and I'm more than ok with that!
R failed his hearing test on the left side yesterday. I went in thinking nothing was wrong and of course now I'm freaking out. The pediatrician wasn't too worried and said he doesn't appear or act like he has hearing loss to her either. He's going in for more testing early next month. It seems so far away.

Yuck. Why did they do the test?
We failed last month as well so I under the worry. Rationally, it is probably fluid in ears, but I worry that I somehow damaged his hearing by being a bad mom. Ha.
The antibiotics he was on in the NICU have the potential to cause hearing loss so this was the follow up.

Yeah, she is ALL over the place, it's nuts and exhausting. She always been ahead with her mobility yet she's not clapping or waving bye-bye yet. I think she can't sit still long enough to learn... lol. Keep them on all fours if you can!
We are 2 hours from home and I can't wait to get there. We had an awesome week on vacation. M finally cut tooth #8 (at least I think it's through). H told me his teeth hurt and it turns out he is cutting his 2 year molars and 1 is half through. H didn't have any accidents except for night time, so I think he is mostly potty trained. Apparently vacation is time for my kids to reach milestones. Lol
scotty138 how old is H? DS1 turned 2 in December and has no interest in potty training. He was going potty at daycare occasionally but now he hates it.
He'll be 3 in May. He has been wearing cloth trainers for a few months. He's really good at holding it, but up until now wouldn't tell us if he needed to go. We just had to remember to take him every 2 hours or so. This week we are going to wear undies and see how it goes!
Me and Lo are sick so we definitely won't be watching the super bowl. We have no cable and don't want to go anywhere. I'm going to have major FOMO all day
We're in this boat too. I've been sick since Wednesday and I'm so tired of feeling miserable! A lot of parenting was done by sesame Street yesterday 😳

DS1 is almost 3 and just now decided he wants to be potty trained lol. He's been in underwear during the day for a few weeks now. He'll tell me whenever he has to go. We keep a potty in the back of the car because he loves to tell me as soon as we leave the house that he needs to pee!
DS2 will be 3 in April (almost same age as Scotty's DS1) and is not close. He'll pee on the potty sometimes, if we make him, but never tells us until after he's peed in his diaper. I'm getting frustrated but it took DS1 until well after 3 to be completely potty trained.
Feel better, @unicornofthesea and renbee. The game is really not good, if it makes you feel any better. You tube halftime, though, because Gaga was good!
Thanks minae01 @unicornofthesea scotty138. I'm not too worried about it yet because I really don't think he's ready, but DH was talking like he wanted to start taking him to potty every 30 min. I told him good luck 😬
If they aren't ready, there's no use forcing the issue. It'll just upset all involved.
We are supposed to get our island counter top installed tomorrow and I finally get my cooktop installed! I can't believe how much I actually use that every day. We've been eating out a lot because I have a hard time coming up with meal ideas for the oven or crockpot.
It's raining here again and we are expecting some snow on Thursday. It's getting really old. I'm ready for some nicer weather.
Yeah it was 50 yesterday, is supposed to snow a few inches tonight and then be like 60 this weekend! Wtf is going on!
The weather is nuts. It's supposed to be 60 here today. Buuuttt now they are saying 6-12 inches tomorrow so I'm praying for a snow day! Fingers crossed!

Lol. We took the protective tape off of the cooktop so we could install it and the finish is gone. It didn't come off with the tape, it was just never there. It will be another 3 weeks before we can get it replaced because they have to special order a new one. The island looks awesome though.

Oh that sucks! You are having no luck. I'm sorry. Glad the island is looking great though!
