Is anyone sending Valentines to daycare with your babes next week? Any ideas for teacher gifts?
Yep, it is organized at our daycare, so we were given a list of all the kids in the classes that my kids are in. Some parents do cutesy pinterest things, others (us) do those cheap box of cards. We are not doing teacher gifts, but food is always appreciated.
M is still awake at 9pm. I wish DH could just get him to sleep without my help because I've had the kids alone since 6am and I'm ready to call it quits.
I'm glad you are feeling better gooselover2012. Insurance is ridiculous. I'm constantly questioning what we are actually planning for because it feels like they cover nothing.
J is sick again. He threw up Wednesday morning and has had bad diarrhea. He hasn't been eating much and I am worried about dehydration. Not peeing much. I hate when he is sick.
I hope J feels better soon. Will he take Pedialyte?
I just want to watch tv without having to share the remote. I got M a pretend one and he won't even look at it. He cries for the real one every time he sees it. #fwp
Well M had a fever and few days ago and had to stay home from daycare...luckily my H stayed home with her. Fevers gone but she's been crabby and miserable. Now she has a full body rash which pediatrian wasnt worried about. Friday night it was -5 out and our furnace stopped working! Called the gas company to come out at 1am (can't wait for that bill) and he got it running temporarily and ordered a part for the next day. Well it went out right after he left and we all snuggled in the same bed for warmth. M was up like 5 times sleeping between us. Ugh. Had to call them 2 more times yesterday until it was finally fixed. Then M fell and bit her tongue which was bleeding...it's fine just scary for a minute. I was even to tired for wine. Hopefully my weekend off gets better.
L has been biting the past few days. Today he bit me HARD and I said "hey! No no. No biting". I didn't think it was loud or anything, but I wanted him to know not to do it. Well I don't know if I scared him or if he thinks he shouldn't nurse anymore, because he refused to nurse the rest of the day. I finally had to give him a bottle and he sucked it right down 😳
M did this when he got his first 2 teeth. It scared me and I yelled. He refused to nurse but would take a bottle. After 2 days he was back to nursing like normal. I just offered the breast first and if he wouldn't take it but was fussy I let him have a few oz in a bottle. ETA he still bites some times and gives me the saddest pouty face when I unlatch him and say "no bite."
J is still sick. Really bad diarrhea. He was player and stopped to pooped. It leaked out of his diaper. He was pooping while I changed him and it was like water. :-(
The nurse said this could take 5-14 days. Ugh. She said to just continue to give liquids and starchy food.
L just had a 2 week bug. She would have 2 blowouts a day and lots of nasty poops once she stopped vomiting. I feel bad because I thought she was fine a week after the vomiting stopped and I had my whole family over....then they all got it. Oops!
I just ordered everything we need to make maple syrup. My parents bought land across the road from their house and it's full of sugar maple. I'm going to spend 1-2 weeks there with the kids this spring. It's one of the things on my bucket list and I'm excited.
I woke up early again to work out today which is a miracle because I've been going to bed so late. I'm down 10 lbs since the beginning of the year too! I am looking forward to fitting in my old clothes again.
Today is one of those days where DH is working from home and has conference calls all day. I wish he had gone into work even though we would have missed valentine's day. I hate keeping the kids quiet all day.
MH's suitcase is still sitting in our bedroom waiting for him to unpack it. I'm trying not to do it to see how long it takes him, but it's been 2 weeks. It's driving me crazy.
There is a funny episode of Everyone Loves Raymond that this reminds me of. Seriously though, this would drive me crazy. Have you mentioned it? I wouldn't be able to keep quiet.

I've mentioned it to him 3 times. It doesn't bother him so he just leaves it 🙄
I've done this before with empty toilet paper rolls. I've had like 10 of them build up before I finally gave up and threw them all out 🙄
M is sleeping on me and I have to use the bathroom so bad. He fell asleep on me an hour ago and H is napping too. I just know he'll wake up if I move a muscle.
Checking in from my toddlers bed. He's super restless. I need him to go to sleep so i can finally drink some wine🍷
H is off tomorrow morning and we arranged for me to go get a pedicure....well, i have an effing screw in my tire so I have to go get that patched instead😡
Oh no! It is such a let down to have something nice planned for once, and then to have it ruined like that
