GAME ON!


1. MH got a raise today! Totally unexpected and totally awesome!



2. Our dinner plans for tonight were canceled (my friend has a stomach bug). But J is so excited to go out for pizza that I am literally afraid of her reaction if we don't go out to dinner.



3. Thank goodness for the raise... we're still going out.



4. Speaking of work, I got a raise this year and really wasn't expecting it. Like, a good raise. A GOOD raise.



5. But now I feel guilty about being soooo unmotivated. I can't gear up for the my last week at work. I think it's literally killing me slowly just to be here.



6. I've also been eating my feelings the last week, which is easy to do when it's tax season and your coworkers buy BJ's sized pretzel nuggets, bags of candy, and a GIANT cookie. WTF, people?!



7. I can't wait to get back to regular exercise.



8. Well, I should clarify. I'm excited to get back to exercising, but that also means about an hour of 'me' time a few times a week at the gym. Which MH is totally supporting. WIN!



9. And my 'me' time sometimes means I do cardio for 15 minutes and spend 20 minutes in the massage chairs watching Bravo. Shhhhh...



10. And finally, I'm so ready for this baby to come! Mainly to see his cute face and smell his hair. But also because OMG -

omg @boxerific I tried kettlebells a few years ago, couldn't get into it...
(also - YAY to multi-tasking! at work yesterday at one point I had two phone calls going on, a webinar in the background, and someone coming up needing something...)

1. I am getting hit SO HARD by allergies right meow



2. I just looked at the allergy forecast for tomorrow, and it's going to be even worse



3. I have plenty of work to do, but my boss pissed me off this morning, so I'm TCFing instead



4. My kid threw minimal tantrums last night, so it offset the 20 minute one he threw the night before



5. My weekend is shaping up to be rally rally busy



6. Least exciting is a baby shower w/ no booze



7. Most exciting is meeting up w/ some SAIF ladies



8. Also hitting up 2 breweries



9. I've been in pretty deep denial the past 2 weeks. Otherwise I'd spiral pretty hard on all the political nonsense

1. my boss is out of work today (while the cat's away....)

2. so of course, the local City officials show up for a surprise kitchen inspection (we're an in-patient nursing facility)

3. assistant also just left work - which leaves me with even LESS motivation to do anything today... except. a lot needs to be done...

4. I got to go out with mom friends Tuesday night - Thai food and martinis: we closed the place down! (literally. they were turning off lights around us and shutting off the music!)

5. I had hot yoga last night, and even though I had THREE martinis with friends the night before, I kicked ass!


6. Hubby is going to a Lumineers concert tonight with a friend - last minute...

7. Because hubby won't be home at all tonight until late, that means I get to eat whatever I want for dinner, no judgement/scolding...


8. I got a new wash machine, and I guess this means I'm officially adulting - I can't wait to use it!!!

(funny - it's the Samsung active wash she advertises lol)

9. my heat in my office has been broken. for a week.....


10. hoping my GYN gets the IUD they ordered in time for me to get it put in during next AF!

1. I am so damn happy everybody in our house is *almost* healthy again.

2. Since we are all feeling better it means dinner at the IL's tomorrow since we missed last time. I don't even mind since it means I won't have to cook!

3. Speaking of cooking I plan on not doing that all weekend. Leftovers Saturday and wings/pizza for the game Sunday!

4. I will be childfree tomorrow for the first time in awhile. I should be exercising and productive at home but I am thinking of going for a pedi instead. Tough choices!

5. I may have cried a little too much yesterday when my big girl turned 2. How am I ever going to handle 16? 18?

6. I *need* the rest of winter to fly by. It is so cold and I want to get out of the house with the girls. I am just not down for 30 min of getting dressed for 10 min of outside play. No thanks.

7. I should be sleeping but all I can think about it the leftover birthday cake in the refrigerator downstairs.

8. DD1 has also been eyeing up the cake every time I open the refrigerator door. She definitely does not need to eat cake every night for the next however long it lasts so I suppose the responsible thing to do would be to go eat it so she doesn't.

9. I have so much on my to do list for my childfree day tomorrow I hope I can get all/most of it done. Prekids this list would have taken me a week. It makes me wonder what I did with all my spare time before.…

10. I must lead a dull life because I had to really think about 10 things!

Awww, taberbtb, you're not alone. J's 2nd birthday hit me way harder than her 1st. I'm not sure why... maybe because she felt less like a baby. Eat the cake, get the pedi, and enjoy your day!

1. My baby is going to be ONE in the weeks. I'm having all the feels.

2. I came to the conclusion that God made children look so cute when they are sleeping so we don't kill them while they are awake.

4. I have bought nothing for W's bday. Obviously, if I ignoring it he won't turn one, right?

5. I've been eating better and have actually lost weight. Of course, now all I want is some pasta.

6. I really need to start back up with my yoga.

7. I kinda love watching Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on food Network.

8. I've been super lazy on meals. Tonight we may have cereal.

9. I literally have a mountain of laundry to fold in the middle of my living room. I can't even summon the energy to care.

10. They just showed pizza on TV, now I want it. It was not the smartest move to be watching food Network.
