I love the cat with the tissue box on its head...that totally would happen in my house....(Ford Commercial)
I just wished they showed it getting taken off.
MH and I made sure to put the mattress on the crib because we were worried about our cats trying to climb through the grate. We caught our biggest cat in a lobster trap once...cats are silly.

One of my friends got a tent-like mesh structure that zipped closed because she was so afraid of her cats getting to the baby.
I don't think my cats will get in the crib with M. I will probably buy one of the mesh covers for when she isn't in there if I find they like the crib. They do like to hide under it to get away from the dog 😂

@osw we just put a screen door on our nursery last time. That way we could still hear the baby but none of our crazy animals could get inside the nursery. Just another option.
Are nets safe? I've also been freaking out over what the cats will do. We can't shut them out of our room, one of them has been known to throw herself against a door until she breaks the latch.

I mean I probably won't have the net on there when the baby is in there. So I'm not really worried about the safety aspect. More the keeping the cats out aspect.

Safety-wise, I was wondering about what happens if the cats get wrapped up in it. One of my cats isn't very bright lol.
I'm not too worried about them getting in there when its empty, I'm more concerned about them wanting to cuddle her.

Because my number 1 fear is fire, I always kept the door to my son's room closed and used a baby monitor to hear crying etc. I will do this to keep the cats away too.

She'll be in our room, in the Halo, for the first 6 months, at least. We can't keep the cats out because one of them will injure herself (and our door) in her efforts to get inside. Most of my friends with cats said it never even ended up being an issue (the cats wanted nothing to do with the baby) so I'm trying not to stress too much.

Right the in the room part! I didn't have cats then with my son... My siamese cat is afraid of small humans so hopefully she wont be a problem...
