How much does LO weigh? Somewhere just over 14lbs. He's got weight gain issues.
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? It could be worse. Sometimes he sleeps ~7 hours for his first stretch, but other times he'll wake up before I go to bed and I take that opportunity to feed him.
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? We're doing some Ferber-ish checkins right now. Our biggest issue is he often wakes up around 4 or 5 and just wants to be held. We'd been just doing it because it meant we could sleep, but last week I was sick and solo parenting and I just couldn't do it and decided it needs to stop. I also end up holding him for part of his afternoon nap sometimes, and I want that to stop.
It's going ok and he's getting better at going to sleep on his own but still screams for a few minutes. Naps have been good. Last night he woke up around 11 and I fed him. That got us to 3, when he pooped. I figured at least if I fed him we'd probably make it until morning - nope. At 5 he was rolling around in his crib complaining. We did 2 checkins and he went back to sleep for an hour, when he pooped again. Not the best night.
I don't look at my phone in the MOTN anymore because it keeps me awake but believe me I'm up.
How old is LO? Just shy of 7 months
How much does LO weigh? 17 lb 7 oz
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Longest stretch is the first one which is usually 4-5 hours. Then we go closer to every 2 hours after that. She's up by 6:30 for the day.
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? Not yet. I have the Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Baby book. I read Ferber for my first but never really did it (tried it and it was not for us). I need to figure something out though.
How much does LO weigh? 17 and 5 ounces at her we'll check 2 weeks ago.
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Atleast 3 wake ups, stretches vary. I can't believe this is the same kid that was almost STTN before Christmas. Last night was 4 times between 11-4.
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? I need to get her out of our room before I can do any. I also need to move up her bedtime. I'm hoping our vacation this weekend will be a hard reset for her.
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Until last night, not well. He wakes up to eat every 2-3 hours. Last night he somehow slept 7-5:30!
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? At 5 months, I stopped nursing to sleep and put him down awake. That was huge. Was still waking up every 2-3 hours, but the wakeups were brief. I won't even go into detail with how bad sleep was before. E never slept, and my H did so many 3am stroller walks with him screaming. It was rough.
We are currently using Ferber to night wean. We make some progress but then E gets sick. But we are sticking to it now that he is healthy. Hoping this time it sticks.
Naps are good. Have no real complaints. Due to DS1, he does some naps on the go, but he still can nap in his crib well.
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Our nights are so back and forth still, I wish there was more of a pattern to them. Last night was great, his first stretch was 5 hours and second was a little over 4, but then the night before he woke up 20 minutes after his first wake up crying. The night before we had a similar story where he woke up an hour after the first and H tried getting him back to sleep for almost an hour before he finally brought him to me to nurse. Nights have definitely improved but we still have times where he's waking up every 2 hours after the first stretch which is so frustrating when he slept so well just the day before. Oh well, we're getting there!
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? We started a variation of the ferber method right around 5 months because Sam was starting to only sleep 1-2 hour stretches and I was done.

How old is LO? 6 months 3 weeks
How much does LO weigh? Around 16 lbs
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Sometimes 8 + hours 5-6 hours this was the norm until 3 weeks ago. He has been unpredictable since some nights up every 2 hrs and hard to put back down. I am starting to think it has to do with tummy pains and gas and adjusting to eating things besides breastmilk.
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? Nope other than limiting feeds somewhat. We will see how long I can last.
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Mostly they are not good. If I'm lucky I'll get a 4 hour stretch out of her. Usually she's up every 3 and some nights it's 1-2.
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? Not really. She goes down in her crib with me patting her butt. She used to fall asleep with me just standing there/sitting in the rocking chair but since she has the cold that never ends I have to pat her butt. She's like my DS and flips out if I leave her to cry for any amount of time. I couldn't sleep train him because of it and I'm worried it'll be the same with J.
How much does LO weigh? Last check was about two weeks ago. Just over 17 lbs.
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Slowly getting worse since he's gotten over croup. We were down to 1-2 wake ups. Now we are back to 4. His longest stretch is the first one- 3 hours. It gets worse as the night goes on.
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? Not yet. He was going down awake beautifully. Then....croup. Going to read Ferber again. Maybe Happiest Baby too.
We did okay last night. I had been getting him to bed between 7:15-7:30, so I moved his bedtime earlier. He was asleep by 7 last night.
He slept from 7-1:30, and then 1:45-5:00! However, he seems to think 5:00 is time to party. He's sort of sleeping in his crib now, but I'm sure he will be awake shortly.
Last. Ugh this was freaking brutal. 6 wakeups! I miss when I could just give him a quick nurse to help him back to sleep
How old is LO? 6mo 3 weeks
How much does LO weigh? He was 15lbs 13oz 3 weeks ago
How are nights going ? Longest stretch? Generally well. Always one wake up Between 1&5AM so sometimes I get 3hr and then 4hrs, sometimes I get 7 hrs and 1hr before I get up l
Have you done any Sleep Training? Which method? How old was LO when you did it? Nothing formal. A few months ago we kinda just trained ourselves not to leap up when he starts fussing. Moving him to his own room was very helpful. I find it very difficult when our older two are here though because I'm afraid he'll wake them up. [/quote]
Just as I suspected. Last night went really well with two long stretches, tonight he woke up 1.5 hours after the first and refused to go back to sleep until H brought him to me to nurse half an hour later 👍
Only two wake ups last night. With a 5 hour stretch to start the night. She rewarded me with a nap strike today -awake since 10:30am with a brief nurse nap at 3pm. Nearly seven hours at this point. She probably thinks she got too much sleep last night 😂

Things are going fine in general. M wakes up a few times to nurse quickly. I almost sleep through since we co-sleep so I can't say if it's two or four times.
However, on Monday night he was energetic and stayed up an hour late until 8:00. At the time I was excited to get the time with DH and thought he might be maturing. Wrong! He was up at 3:45 am and ready to party until 5:00 am. Then he was agitated all day with choppy naps. Never again. We went to bed right at 7:00 last night and both got a good night. My sister and I talked and my niece was exactly the same. She slept 6:45 pm to 5:00 am for years. If they pushed bedtime any later, she was up for the day at 4:00 am.
Wtf!!!! Vent time. Just got a $400 hydro bill. Apparently we used over double compared to last December?? I called in and they said there's something running in our house that is the equivalent to having the oven on at 400 at all times. So now we have to turn off the breakers in our house one at a time to figure out wtf is using so much power.
I haven't slept yet. B has been up every 1.5 hours since I put him down. He keeps slamming into the side of his crib. He's been doing this for three damn months.
Knock on wood, night time sleep has been decent the past 3 nights. But that means naps are now a disaster. Too much to ask to have sleep be decent during the day and night I guess.
Sorry Ray. That really stinks. Hope you find out what's using all your energy and unplug it asap!
Every hour since 11. So wake up number 4 right now. I believe her first tooth has broke through (gums have been swollen for 2 days now). She's been moaning in her sleep. We have a flight in 7 hours
Thanks for the virtual hugs koritto, mcktymck. Last night was finally a little better. She woke up 3 times, but the first time was able to whine herself back to sleep. Of course I still kept waking up because my body was trained haha. Still feeling much more human today. Hope your nights were okay!
I give up! The past several nights Sam has been fighting sleep at bedtime and just hanging out in his crib kicking and fussing for over two hours before finally falling asleep. But once he fell asleep at 9:30 he was staying asleep until 5am so that was nice. I figured his bedtime fighting might have to do with being nursed to sleep so tonight I changed up our bedtime routine so that he was put to bed awake. Well it worked perfectly and he was asleep in minutes by 7 which had me feeling good about my decision.. until just now when he woke up crying at 11:30, right as I was almost asleep 😑 I just can't win haha
We've been doing...okay I guess. His longest stretch is the first one, about 6 hours. If I go immediately to sleep after I put him down it's not so bad, but it's hard to fall asleep at 7:30 when I know I have to clean and get ready for the next day.

I think things are finally turning around. We've only had 1 wake up for the past 5 nights or so. I know things could change on a dime, but for now I'm going to celebrate. I think solids are helping as he eats a lot in the 2 hours before bed (nurse, solids which he's loving, nurse at bedtime).
