I get to see the baby tomorrow!!!!! I'm so excited. Not excited about the crappy weather coming our way
Me too!! (Our crappy weather looks like it's not coming til later in the week, though.)
My new doc's office ordered an u/s for me bc I spotted two weeks ago...and I think really the nurse just knew that for a 38yo mom KU with twins and history of losses going from week 8 to 13 with no u/s is rough. I'm nervous and MH can't come with me, which I'm bummed about...but I'm so grateful they got me in!

akraus2015 - So sorry yoga was rough for you today. Good job sticking it out and planning to go back. There's nothing wrong with thinking more about Emmett than Oliver at times. I can't imagine how tough it is for you. Virtual hugs and back pats.
akraus2015 - Forgot to add: I spoke with the yoga instructor to double-check on anything which was recommended to stay away from, and she only said the following: Laying on your stomach (unless it's comfortable, then go for it), true inversions like headstands (unless you were already doing them regularly, then as long as you're comfortable and past 1st tri), and closed twists (just because it squishes baby and you want to give them room). So anything you'll do in a prenatal class will be more than fine. But you can always stop or modify if you're not feeling it!

akraus2015 - Feel free to not respond if this is too much or just too nosy, but are you planning to do anything for what would have been his birthday? I hope this week goes easy on you.

Okay go with what marshian just said about the safe yoga poses. I forgot about inversions and twists because I can't do those when I'm not pregnant lol

I'm glad you will see the baby! H has never been to an ultrasound so tomorrow will be his first. I mean we are paying enough for it lol.
hpnegirl and everyone else who's already taken the GTT for any pregnancy: How bad do you feel when you drink it? I've read accounts of people being light-headed and nauseous. I'm wondering if I can drink it at work and then go to my appointment, but I'll be at work for about 40 minutes after drinking it. Will I be functional or miserable?
Here's my opinion: if you can drink a soda, you can drink the orange drink. Honestly it's just a flat orange soda. I felt sick because of nerves but I could drink the drink anytime if I wasn't getting blood drawn.
See, I don't drink regular soda. When I do drink soda (which seems to be daily with this child), it's diet. I get sick from regular soda, too.
I also hate orange flavor so the combo isn't good in general for me

We actually celebrate his birthday on his " Heaven day", or the loss date, which is in August. We'll go somewhere fun for diner with my mom and have a fancy dessert or something, then go visit the cemetery. This year we'll bring Oliver too. ❤
