We've watched Storks and are now on to Angry Birds...
I got DS new sippy cups to try (they look more like water bottles because he's constantly trying to steal ours)... the plus side is he's drinking a lot more liquids. The downside is he's flooding his diapers, therefore leaking, within an hour of being changed. Wouldn't be awful if he didn't hate diaper changes so freaking much (has since birth... you'd think two years of diapers would have gotten that out of him..)
Ugh, sounds frustrating. You guys use cloth, right? What do you do when they start wetting through? Add more inserts?
Yes. There's options- I can add a doubler to add some more absorbency or I can move up to the next size (we use AI2s); he's in mediums but I could move to large. I could also change what inserts we use but I just replaced our microfiber inserts for bamboo.
Re: weekend. My biweekly chiro app is tomorrow afternoon followed by the biweekly Sam's run. Other than that, I may finally finish decorating the nursery. Maybe..
You must AW pics of the nursery when it's done!!
I'm *this* close to being done. So close, yet so far, it seems
I am seriously excited for this weekend because I am buying nursery furniture / assembling nursery furniture. We will probably order a custom black out blind, as well as finally order a blackout blind for our giant master bedroom window!! Four years of way too much light in there!
I am also going to get new work flats so I can throw out my toxic waste shoes that are making my feet smell (full disclosure they are over 5 years old...)
What kind of flats are you getting? Do you have a specific kind that you love?
I am going to get some leather flats with cushiony support. We have a store in Canada called Softmoc that specializes in comfy shoes, and they have like Clarks, GEOX, Sam Edelman brands like that. Shoes always cost way more here (tears) so I am thinking the GEOX which are on sale this week. I normally buy the 14.99 flats from H&M that last 3 months these five year old ones are from Tommy Hilfiger and they have held up well but are just flat and now epicly stinky.
I will let you know what I think after my shoe excursion this weekend! (I am normally a heel person for work but not happening with my preggly swollen feet)

Have you tried Tieks before? They're expensive, but they're seriously like walking on clouds. I have a pair on today!
I would love a new couch! But we have to wait until we move. Whenever that happens...
The couch is older than me.. it's time to go. We were going to wait until we moved but I can't even sit on said couch anymore due to my back
Oh. Yeah, it's time then. Our couch is only about 3 years old, but it's not what I want. I actually just want to get rid of everything and start again, but that's not happening until we move.
Add me to the haircut crew. Mine is scheduled for tomorrow after work.
Weekend plans are currently to take photos of our condo in preparation for listing it in at minimum a year from now. Since the new floors are in and there's no clutter or baby things right now, H made the excellent point we should just do it now. (I do photography on the side so we don't need to hire someone.)
We're doing brunch and board games with another couple friend Sunday.
Other than that, the only plan is to get everything back in its home. I want to work on cleaning out/organizing the office more, but that's about it.
I haven't decided. I think I will stick with my lob
That's what I'm going for! We'll be twinning! It must be the pregnant lady haircut.
I'll break the chain - no lob here. I want them this time to seriously just trim it and clean up the layers. Last time we decided to switch from round to square layers and she ended up taking off over 2 inches which was too short. I was not pleased.
And I should probably find out if H is planning on getting me anything for VDay and if I need to find him a present...
We don't usually do much but this am MH was talking about how he wants a bench press for the basement. Since it will be harder for him to go for two hour gym trips with babies, I just ordered one on Amazon for Valentine's Day. I love Amazon. It was kind of a lot of $$ for VDay but I didn't have to leave the couch and he'll love it.

I did lob two cuts ago and was supposed to go back today but my stylist canceled bc of the storm...but I think I'm going to grow it out again. I just don't "do" it enough to look good shorter, so I need easy ponytail/bun hair.

I have been *this* close to getting Tieks so many times...but they are so $$. Are they really really worth it?? I wear ballet flats all the time, with varying degrees of comfort, but I'm usually a $30 pair of shoes type girl.

Good morning, ladies!
I am also team no-Valentine's-Day-gifts. My birthday is only a few days after V-Day and it just gets to be too much if we try to make a thing out of both. DH is making me a red velvet cheesecake cake for my birthday and I don't need him to get me anything else.

So, so worth it. It took me forever to pull the trigger but I swear they're worth every penny. I've had mine over a year and they are still in perfect condition, too. (I do use leather cleaner on them every now and then.)
