TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
I just dropped the dog off at doggy daycare and am waiting for the carpet cleaners to get here. We have a maid service coming tomorrow to deep clean everything else and I'm super excited to have a spotless house.
Also, I talked to my mom last night about our induction and she said she wanted to come out a week before. lolno. The absolute last thing I want the week before my induction is my mom hovering, I told her to come Saturday for a Monday induction and I'm still kind of bummed that my H and I won't have that last weekend to ourselves
Girl, I'd put my foot down. To your point, that will be your LAST weekend with just you and H as a pair. Tell her to come in Sunday evening so you can enjoy your last weekend.
I'm dying to get a second pair. I want Cardinal red for baseball season.
I think y'all have convinced me! Next little splurge...
I'm also mostly convinced. I just have really tough feet for shoes of any kind. They're narrow with super narrow heels (thanks to my grandma for passing that along) and I'm also flat-footed.
akraus2015 - Does Tieks do a return policy? If they fit and feel as amazing as everyone claims, I will try them. But if they don't fit my strange feet, I would want my money back.

+1. I'm sure your mom is excited, but do what YOU want. Plus, from what I've heard, inductions can sometimes take days. She's got time to get there.
PDQ: I have a family friend who ended up being induced after getting in a minor car accident at 40 weeks because blood tests showed baby's blood was mingling with mom's. Her family was planning to go into town (they live out of state from them) when baby was born. She told them she was being induced but to wait a few days to come. They came right away and ended up sitting in the hospital waiting room for almost 48 hours.
wannabmama - My dog baby loves to play in it when we get a good amount. Plus she LOVES to eat it. She always thinks it's not allowed and gives us this furtive look after the first lick.
Team no Valentine's Day gifts here. My birthday is two weeks later, plus we're not big on random holiday gifts. I'll be baking heart-shaped brownies, though!

Yes mine go crazy!! They run around like lunatics and eat it. I think this one is trying to tell me it's time to go out and play...but that would mean leaving my cozy spot by the fire, so they're going to have to wait a bit.

Website says unworn Tieks can be exchanged or returned for a refund at any time, shipping is on them.
We usually don't exchange gifts for Valentine's day, but when I was paying bills yesterday I looked at the credit card statement and noticed that H ordered flowers yesterday. I'm assuming they're for me....I'll be super bummed if they're like, for his mom or something.

ugaqueencity +1 to the others, put your foot down with your mom. My induction with DS started at 6pm on Friday and DS arrived via c-section at 3am. On Sunday. It could have been longer but we all decided I wasn't progressing. I'm glad my mom wasn't hovering around that whole time.

Then I say, happy birthday to me! (A few weeks early, but it's a good excuse.)

Ahhh can't wait to see which ones you pick!!
I so want a fun color...but I know I'll get most use out of black (can even wear with pants suit for court when I'm super preggers)...but ruby red patent?!? Love! Teal?!? Love! Shimmery?!? Love!

akraus2015 too - I'm sure I'll be super boring because I'm going to want to get the most use out of them for the money. But man, there are super cute colors!

I got ballet pink because I have matte black Tory Burch flats that I wear mostly with work outfits, but I have the cardinal red on my list, as well as the rose gold ones!
Talks of family visiting makes me realize that I don't think DH has broken the news to MIL that she isn't allowed to visit for 2 weeks post birth, provided she ever issues the long overdue apology.. I also don't think she knows her visit is limited to 3 hours per day, not the 12 hours a day she thinks she's entitled to
hpnegirl - Hope he tells her with enough time for her to get over it. Can't believe she hasn't apologized, but I'm guessing she doesn't think she has anything to apologize for?

She doesn't think she's done anything wrong and I'm just a bitch.
My H has even said a few times he dreads answering the phone when she calls because she always badgers to either come visit or for us to visit.

175 x the outrageous exchange rate of 1.40 we often get on our credit card: 245 plus 31.50 USD!! for shipping: 44.10 x 13% tax we are charged in Ontario $326.68 Canadian... That is way too rich for my blood. I would probably splurge on Frye flats when they are on sale first... or find a similar product from a Canadian company...
