Doctors rounded. Her belly is much better. Still distended but getting smaller. So we are continuing our plan from yesterday. Lungs are improved so we are lowering our peep to 7 and turning our rate to 25 and putting her in auto mode which just means she controls more of her own breathing and is a step closer to extubation. She's crying a ton today so we are adjusting meds as well to help with that. New issue is left is very cold and right leg is very hot. They are doing ultrasounds of both to rule out blood clots and other issues.

Sorry - I have dropped the ball on keeping y'all updated! This is from yesterday:
Gracelynn is improving. We are in a step down unit now called IMU(intermediate care unit). We are still on 2 L of oxygen with wonderful sats. We are still trying to wean her medications and control her withdrawl. Physical, occupational, and speech therapist have started working with her to regain her strength, abilities, and learn to eat again. Right now weaning meds is our biggest issues. Wanting her comfortable but not over sedated is a very fine line. Thank you for all the continued prayers.
