So cute! @katechristine18
I started getting sick yesterday. Left work early to come home and nap. Seems to be just a bad head cold but it sucks. I took the humidifier out of Noah's room so I could use it last night and he was up twice. Guess I'm buying a second one today. He had been STTN spectacularly since I started running the humidifier in his room at night. Guess that was the magic trick.
I still feel like crap and DH works today. I don't want to adult.

We're up and the boys are finishing first breakfast. Hunter has decided he's a big boy and must eat his cereal with milk in a regular chair and have a napkin which is actually a kleenex he got himself. No more high chair for us! I suppose I should I buy him a booster.
I'm debating a trip to the next town over today. I don't need to go, especially since we have a ton of groceries already, but they have a Chinese restaurant and I pretty much need it.

We made it through night one of sleep training. She actually slept through the night too. She woke up like an hour and a half earlier than normal. I normally would throw her in bed and she would sleep later, but I didn't want to mess things up.
I intended on getting up at 6 and waking DS2. DS1 has his meet the coach and team at 2 this afternoon for pre-tee ball and that's usually when DS2 is still napping. We didn't get up until 6:45 when I heard DS2 playing in his crib. Oh well. Maybe I'll run him like crazy so he'll go down by 11:30 for a nap.
Woke up with J at 2:30 and even though she went back to sleep pretty quickly, I was WIIIIIIIDE awake, which is pretty unusual for me.
Couldn't get back to sleep so I got up, ate breakfast at 3 am and finished the novel I started yesterday. I will obviously pay for this later today, but am pretty chipper right now!

Uuggghh I've been having contractions for hours that are just bad enough to wake me up.
They go away when I walk around. That's really conducive to SLEEPING AT NIGHT, body. Ya jerk!
They are irregular and not getting any stronger so unless that changes I'm just watching and waiting. I have an appt on Thursday and will hit 36 weeks Monday. I would really like this kid to cook longer.

We're watching flip or flop on hgtv and DH hates Tarek. He keeps venting about how he keeps subtly insulting Christina. I just informed him they just got divorced and she is dating someone new and he said, "good! Glad she renovated her husband".

Today is P's birthday party. I have so much anxiety about this. It's our first kid party. I'll take photos and post them later. I hope it turns out ok!!
My dog is driving me INSANE!!! The past two weeks she's been eating crayons, A's socks, and whatever else she can get a hold of. She hasn't done this in over a year. Nothing has changed, her exercise has been the same. Ugh!!

I swear dogs go through phases. Annoying as hell. I love my dog but then I also want to kill him. Normal, right?
Thank you all for the well wishes and warm welcome for baby Louis. We're going home today! I'm going to post a birth story in the other thread when I'm feeling smarter. I was just filling out a form and it took me like 20 minutes to compute that my baby is 3 days old on paper but is also only 32 hours old. Huh. Need whatever was in those IVs to wear off!
I slept until 830 this morning. And I don't think I moved all night. I was worn out from the full moon insanity at work yesterday. Here's hoping all the patients are exhausted from their shenanigans yesterday and take it easy on us today.

Decluttering is the best! How is it even possible to have this much junk in one house? I swear we have enough junk to fill 3 houses. I feel so free right now! It's magical.

F is doing his usual "I don't need any sleep because I've been sick for the past week and slept a ton" nonsense, so he's a real joy today... But! I put him up on the stool with me while I made dinner last night and cookies this morning, and he "helped" me, and it was the best thing ever (although very messy). I have all the heart-eye emojis about it. And H saw us this morning which sufficiently guilted him into making the helper stool maybe next weekend, if there's no baby.
I plan on finishing the nursery today, and then we'll be ready. I mean, we're ready now, but we'll be extra ready after today.
kristhegirl, I hope your uterus is just being irritable and that labor is not imminent. Keep cooking little baby!
S had her EI intake visit yesterday. They didn't really say if they saw anything concerning up front or not. She demonstrated how well she listens to me when I say no, which is not at all. She also demonstrated that she cannot ask for help with a toy. She just shoves it at me. We will have her monitored by two specialists on March 2nd, to determine if she is eligible.
We got about another inch of snow on top of our already 16 or so inches, last night. We are supposed to get another 8-14 tomorrow into Monday. I am done with all this snow. This about sums up how several New Englanders suddenly forget how to drive in the snow:

Isn't it!? I've been on an obsessive decluttering mission, too. I swear I've donated a house worth of stuff, too. Good job to you!
The best part is that I've been selling stuff on eBay and have earned over $1,000! I discovered there is like a cult following for some old running clothes I have and sold things I paid $65 five years ago for $125.SaveSave
Basically it's paint. I'm using a tiny paintbrush and it's time consuming but it basically looks like we have a new floor. I couldn't get the 20+ years of dirt up, this is much better.
PS it's $13 at home depot vs 30 on Amazon.
Awesome. Do you need to be precise painting between the tiles, or can you slop in on and wipe up the excess?SaveSave

Unfortunately nothing here is worth selling so no money back. But I've got 3 bags of clothes and a box of kitchen stuff for donation, 2 garbage bags of cloth diapers to go to the women's shelter, and countless empties to return at the beer store for cash. Now I just need H to get rid of his junk since he has so much random crap around the house. I'm afraid to take on the basement, there's a scary amount of stuff down there.
I tried soooo hard to get to the bilingual school for music group today! Of course as we are getting out of the car who is walking out....music lady! I introduced myself and asked where else she performs. She felt bad for how long we drove and probably for how frazzled I looked, and gave us a free CD!
I just got this email from a student.... --- please just grade my work I have tried so hard but I don't seem to be bright enough to understand how to make a perfect paper for you. --- I've provided her detailed feedback, an introductory video and a worksheet + example to follow. This is the third time I've asked her to revise.
I know she's frustrated but how am I supposed to respond to that after I've provided her all of that?
And another emailed me earlier that she's never heard the word "gap" other than the clothing store. Do I get a dictionary definition or just what?
