Oh my goodness. I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this. I am so so so deeply sorry for your losses. You and mr. Rama are in my thoughts and prayers. You have been such an amazing support to me and I really hate to see this. Sending Internet hugs.
Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words. We're getting better. I'm kind of annoyed that it took the counselors until TODAY (!!) to get ahold of us. To be frank, I think I'm at a point where going would annoy me more than help me. But I'm pretty sure MrRama still wants/needs to go, so I will go with him, since going as a couple was always our plan and I don't want to ditch him because of my [possibly biased] feelings.
We're also hoping to hear back from our genetic testing soon. Our karyotyping was supposed to take about two weeks and that milestone was last Friday. So we're waiting on that. The D&C will be two weeks away on Wednesday, so hopefully those results will be along shortly after. I'm really curious about both of these and can't wait to hear what we find out.
Rama, I hope the testing can all give you a clearer picture of what happened/what may be going on. The sciency part of me is curious but in no way do I want to diminish what you are going through by ever asking nosy questions, so please know that whatever you choose to share with us, I am interested and grateful for the opportunity to know.
I am glad you seem to be in (relatively) good spirits, and I do hope Mr Rama will be okay, as well. All my non-creepy internet acquaintance love and hugs.
Rama, I'm just seeing this :( I am so very sorry. So many creepy internet hugs for you ❤️❤️
Thank you, friend. <3
A small update from the genetic testing results while I'm here: MrRama and I got karyotyping done, both of us are genetically normal, so there is no genetic factor that predisposes us to losses. Win! Products testing got it juuuust before my follow up appointment yesterday (I look good, physically!) and they came up with genetically abnormal male, with XXYY chromosomes. My OB wasn't sure how to interpret those results because it may have been tissue from more than one pregnancy, but she put in a message to the genetic counselor to contact us when she can to go over what her thoughts might be.
At the very least, we know we were expecting at least one son. It is so nice and comforting to know and say that I had a son. <3
