I wish i was able to get a work out in this morning. Monday mornings are rough when H isn't home. Just getting the kids moving is hard enough but add on top of it trash and recycling day makes getting out the day longer.
Friday was our last day of intern interviews! Huzzah huzzay! Hopefully that means work will get back to a somewhat normal schedule this week. I've been ignoring most of my regular projects to get the intern program together. Except now I'm freaking out because a lot of students are rejecting our offers. Apparently paid positions are coming back with the improving economy, and the government can't compete anymore. I'm genuinely concerned that we won't have interns this year, which would be the first time in about 20 years.

that's all i got. eh, it's monday.
Could you put the garbage and recycling out Sunday nights when you H is gone making Monday mornings a little less chaotic? Growing up my dad always put those out the night before. Granted they came super early.
Blah today. Was restless in my sleep last night, DS1 alarm went off super loud while DS2 was still sleeping, I think scared him awake, cue rolling around crying for 10 minutes. I need a time out...one a beach...with a cold drink....and no alarms!

Pregnancy announcements went perfectly for both families ~ whew! The in-laws figured it out within a minute of taking Oliver's jacket off, and my family took about 3 minutes to notice. Everyone was excited and surprised, and it feels a little bit more real now that we've shared the news with some people.
joi922, where I work prides themselves on their intern program, then we had a bad quarter financially the end of last year. To try and make some cuts, we were told the beginning of this year that they wanted to lay off all the interns in our division. The bosses all banded together to try and keep as many of the interns as possible, but talk about trimming the low hanging fruit...
J is doing much better since Saturday. Almost back 100%. Of course, the dog had another seizure last night so I will be calling the vet to see what they want us to do. CAN EVERY LIVING CREATURE IN MY HOUSE JUST BE HEALTHY AT ONE TIME?!?!?!11?!!11?
Glad J is feeling better. OMG about the dog... I am sorry.
Monday, Monday. I am at our slow campus today and will be hitting up Walmart on my lunch break to get his teacher something for Vday. Trying got decide between flowers and a jar of candy. I could use hand prints to make a heart on the vase or the jar...
So I signed up to bring a healthy snack to J's valentine's party tomorrow at daycare but I have no idea what to bring. Any ideas? She said to bring enough for 20-25 people. I am probably not doing valentine's for the whole class. I hope I'm not the only one!

I still haven't caught up on last week's or the weekend thread but things have been crazy over here. We're thinking of selling the house because we just found another problem that needs to be fixed almost immediately which all of those things will total $$$ and we just can't do it. Both H and I are beyond stressed but we would be moving closer to H's work so that's a plus. We still have to do some repairs though it will just be different level if we're not going to live here (ex:replacing cedar siding rather than replacing everything with hardiplank). So much $ though.

Ugh... Being closer to his work would be good in respects to him being home more, right?
Good news though... W said his first sentence!! He pointed to a picture of H and said "that's dada" and then pointed to a picture of me and said "that's mama". I was planning on talking to the pedi during his 18 month appt because he had lost a lot of words and was sticking to about 5 (or less) but now I'm a lot less worried.

Our recycling comes before we even wake up so we try to take it out the night before after w goes to sleep.
