We had a blizzard yesterday so this morning was touchy, but I got to the train on time. Small miracle. Only to hear that the train is 35 minutes late. Fml. It's only my first day right? My other first day at this company I showed up with a broken arm...lol. Bad track record! But I'm finally in the train and warming up (because it's -14 out) and praying my boss won't mind Emmy immediate run to the coffee maker!
Married 10/10/10! TTC Baby #1 since April 2014 BFP Oct 16 - EP terminated Nov 6 2014 Off the Bench January 2015! BFP #2 June 1 2015 - EDD Feb 12 2016! Baby Boy born 15th February 2016!
I need to re-start today already. Woke up late, DH was snippy with me, SS moved his body as slow as molasses but his mouth faster than a jet engine, and I left L's bottles in the fridge and realized halfway to daycare. Missed my 8:30am meeting at work because of it. I really needed to be there, but oh well, I hate a damn first thing Monday morning meeting anyway. I need to let all that negative energy go and be productive today because I'm taking Thursday off to finish some house cleaning and prep for L's birthday party.
Morning! Back to the routine. I am taking the girls to the library in a little bit. I also need to run to hobby lobby but I might wait on that until tomorrow when H is at preschool. My goal for today is to keep H moving to see if that improves her attitude. Threenager is right.
Morning! Sounds like everyone is having a case of the Monday's!! We just finished up breakfast and now we need to start DS's Valentine's stuff for school. Maybe I'll post a picture of my disaster when it's completed.
In other news I think I'm going to try giving DD a bottle tonight at bedtime, and if that goes well we will probably be done nursing. I've got about 7-8 days of bm left in the freezer if I counted correctly, that's at 5 bottles a day.

Hope the rest of your first day back goes more smoothly, kellybenelly83!
I'm trying to get x down for a nap before we take my mom to the airport this morning. Not much else on the agenda. Maybe some storage bins to figure out a system for toys because it's taking over post-birthday.
Hope the baby feels better, swivelchair5. Sick babies are sad and exhausting.
We are in the midst of a blizzard. News reports are saying it's a very dangerous blizzard. The whole city is shut down. Except for my and H's places of employment. As a reminder, I work in a big retail store. And H works at a call center, doing tech support for cell phones. So we're not exactly necessary personnel. I'll likely call in later. It's pretty bad now, but it's supposed to get worse this afternoon.
On the bright side, I now have cookies and brownies to snack on. I was very productive this morning! I even did dishes and threw some laundry in the wash. I'll be browsing Netflix for a good movie to curl up and watch later. Any suggestions?

I called the pedi and a nurse listened to R breathe and cough over the phone and is worried she may have bronchitis. We have an appointment this afternoon.

Oh yikes. I hope it's not, but I'm glad you're going in case!

Oh no! I hope she gets the right diagnosis and is able to get meds and start feeling better soon.

swivelchair5 I hope they help her feel better soon!
I feel like Lu grew up overnight. She just seems older. Like she had a massive mental leap. I was just washing dishes and she walked into the kitchen, got a pouch out of the cupboard, handed it to me to open, and then walked away eating. What?!? Who are you?!? Where's my baby?!?

Whaaaat?! Awfully self sufficient (kinda nice!) but seriously that's too much!

Hope she can get some meds and start feeling better quickly! There's just too much sickness going around this winter!!
Got our Valentine's box done. I seriously thought we'd be spending all damn day on this project but we were done by 10:30. 🙌🏻 I got his teachers each a box of brownies and a cute colored spatula and attached a little tag about earning brownie points, they're cute. We went outside after lunch and now it's nap time. I'm trying to meal plan/come up with super easy quick foods to have here for my mom and the kids while we are on vacation.

Just got back from the doctor. R has the flu and croup. The doctor prescribed tamiflu, but the closest pharmacy that has it in stock is 15 miles away. It is going to take at least an hour to get there and back. Probably longer. I am waiting for DH to get home from work so poor baby doesn't have to spend all that time strapped in her car seat.

Oh no poor girl!! I hope she feels better soon! It seemed like flu season was so much easier this year and then in the last month I've heard of so many cases
I survived my first day, my new boss sent me packing early because it is still gross outside and she didn't want to overwhelm me. I had a great lunch with her and her boss. Now I'll be doing all the baby snuggles when I get home, because I missed my baby!!

With the way the snow is blowing, there's like no snow around my car. That'll be nice when it comes time to shovel. But the snow drifts are pretty much waist deep in some areas.

Poor girl, I hope she's feeling better soon. I'm sure your doctor talked to you about the tamiflu, but it's only supposed to shorten the flu by 1 day, so it may not be worth your time/the fight to get it/give it to her.

swivelchair5 poor baby. I hope she's on the upswing pronto.
I'm glad you had a good first day kellybenelly83 and I hope R gives you all the cuddles this evening.
DD2 has been having rough nights the last couple nights so I am tired. My best guess is the molars just under her gums.
My mom came over this morning so I went out and cleared the car and laneway. I'm now trying to throw snow up onto snowbanks that are as tall as me. And there's more coming over the next couple days. Give it a rest will you, Mother Nature.
Took the kids to walk around the mall after lunch in hopes of getting baby naps before drop in time at gymnastics. DD1 was a real pain and I debated going to gymnastics by the time I got them all back in the car.
I decided to go for it only to have L vomit all over himself right before getting there. Poor little guy hasn't vomited again but has had a lot of diarrhea. Depending on how this goes we might be postponing Valentine's day cause nothing says sexy like being elbow deep in your kids excretions.
