namastebiotches good luck tomorrow. I also hate having to talk to people. Hopefully you're just not getting the whole story from your ds because that seems excessive for talking at lunch. Good luck.
my thing is if he was being rowdy fine. Should be more like 2 minutes. They're kindergartners for goodness sake.
DDs doctor isn't in the office today, but the PA said waiting until next week was fine but to let her know if she still isn't peeing in the next 48 hours. Which I feel like of course she's not going to be peeing by then because something is clearly wrong. But whatever. If they're not concerned...
I'm a firm believer in it doesn't hurt to get them checked out. They are so little and much more sensitive to illnesses and dehydration. You know your kid better than anyone and if you think there's something more going on, trust that.
I've had her checked out. The last time I took her to the children's hospital on doctor's orders the NP that saw us completely blew us off saying that she acted fine so it must be nothing. I'm still pissed about it, but it just completely wore me down. This whole time I've been fighting that something is wrong and I've been told by pretty much everyone that the meds will work and she's fine. That is just the diarrhea and she's fine. That she doesn't act sick so she's fine. I don't know. I don't want to be right but why the hell isn't she peeing?!? Ugh. I'm so over doctor's at this point. The ones that are concerned are no help because they tell us to go somewhere else and then no one is concerned. It's just frustrating.

After dropping off the goodie bags to his classroom, DS & I pulled the principal over to the side (she's usually in the main intersection near the entrance of the school greeting/directing kids.) Told her what DS told me. She told me that all disciplinary actions are supposed to come to her & nothing did so she has no idea what happened. The vibe I got from her face the whole time I was speaking was 'wtf are these people telling these kids.' She had also mentioned today of all days she wants the kids outside, I interjected saying 'my thoughts exactly' (the weather is supposed to be beautiful) & also told her if he was being rambunctious that's fine but 10 minutes sounds super excessive & she basically just told me she'll talk with them & find out what happened but if I don't get a call to know that he's outside playing. She also told me that him & the other kids that I mentioned he told me also got in trouble are definitely not the kids that are usually the ones to get in trouble. So that also sides with DS' story. I think this lady was just having a day & spewing out shit. Principal thanked me for telling her. Maybe she's gonna get in trouble. Boom!
