Milestones: Standing on his own!!! He does it when he doesn't think about it. He also signed all done today!!! Yay!!!
Challenges: Eating. Suddenly he decided he doesn't like chicken or Mac and cheese. Seriously?? Who is this kid???
Funny/cute story: Today he the threw his whole lunch down on the floor while we were out to eat. He the then signed all done. So both proud and horrified parent moment.
How are you? Tired. I think my Endo is acting up again. My pelvic area is pretty crampy and my Ute is irritated at best.
QOTW: If you could go anywhere tomorrow night for one dinner sans kids where would you go and why? Hmm.... I dunno. We don't really eat out that much.
Challenges: she's still not peeing like she should be.
Funny/cute story: yesterday she tried to eat a piece of chocolate out of my mouth after I wouldn't feed her any. She came at me mouth open and tongue out and tried to push her way into my mouth. I had to put her down so I could laugh. It was hilarious.
How are you? Meh. Lots of anxiety.
QOTW: If you could go anywhere tomorrow night for one dinner sans kids where would you go and why? That's a tough one! I don't know. Anywhere. I don't even care what the food is. A meal without a baby begging for food constantly sounds like a dream!
Milestones: We're walking! Only a 3-5 steps at a time, and slightly unsteady, but we're getting better every day. He's also really starting to get the hang of a fork.
Challenges: The tantrums. Lord, the tantrums. He's suddenly Mr Independent and wants to do everything himself. I thought I had a while before that stage..
Funny/cute story: He wants to share his cheerios all the time now. I try to accept his offers, but they usually come with dog hair or fingers stuck in the way back of my mouth. Not super pleasant lol
How are you? I'm fine, just a little stressed over getting everything ready for his party this weekend.
QOTW: Hm... Melting Pot, or Red Sushi, because yum. Ooh, or the local movie theatre that also serves pizza and ice cream because we never get to watch movies anymore with a kid.

megrae12, Yay for standing on his own!! How is he so big? Just yesterday he was a baby!
tkford216, Ditto to what I said to Meg, how do you have a 1 year old?!?! DS1 always offered me cheerios that had been slobbered on and were pre-moistened for my benefit. Sadly I was always full when the cheerios were around.
@led, I am sending lots of healing vibes her way, do you have a follow up scheduled to check on the UTI? I hope she gets better soon!

I emailed her doctor and the PA said we're okay to wait until her checkup next week but to call if it's not better in 48 hours. Which I thought was silly since this has been an issue for like three weeks now. But whatever. So she'll probably be going in later this week.
