Did anyone have a delayed shot reaction? We have a fever today, but otherwise seem fine and her shots were 10 days ago... I googled it and it seems like it's probably from the shots but JW

Pedi said with one of the shots he had that we may not notice a reaction right away, the fever could show a week later so I guess 10 days is still in that time frame. How high is her fever?

Not that high. Just around 100. Our doc said 1-2 weeks. I'm not worried, just hoping it passes quickly... we were supposed to go to a bday party this weekend for her little friend but I'll have to see what she's like.. jic.
Finally made J's one year appt... for April 21st...
Hah, ours is March 28th because my middle child got student of the quarter at school and the assembly was the same time as her original appointment on the 15th. So the soonest they had after that was 2 weeks later. That's crazy town that they are scheduling a month out for you!

In the minute it took me to decide I would take her by myself tomorrow than wait another month, the appointment for tomorrow was no longer available...

Yes. K got a rash at the site of her hep A injection about 48 hours after. It was raised and hot. Pedi said it was no biggie because no vomiting or fever. The skin is still discolored.

We didn't do Hep A yet... but good to know, hope it finishes healing soon. My pedi does it at 15 months if the kids aren't in daycare. she is fine now, just had a fever for a few days nothing too bad.

J is stubborn and independent, but so sweet and funny. He says uh oh, all done, no, mama, dada, and yay. He can take a few wobbly steps, but isn't really walking yet.
She got her TB test done and finger prick. We have to go back Thursday for the TB reading and the rest of her vaccines. The doctor said she looks great. This was her first appointment at the new clinic we're at since we moved and she did well. That finger prick was awful though. K is for sure a bleeder. It got everywhere and they put this giant bandage on her finger and it's filled up. I don't know how I'm going to get the thing off to change it either since it's super strength and wrapped around it a few times!

Both height and weight were right around the 75th percentile, which is where they've been for a while. Her head circumference was 19 inches and was off the charts. Little girl has a big noggin!
Since we snagged the first available appointment, we saw a nurse practitioner today who I actually liked better than the doctor we normally see. She was awesome! She seemed surprised by J's molar. J wasn't happy though since it was getting close to nap time and all these strange people kept touching her.
Just this week she has started pulling up everywhere. She actually still fusses sometimes because she wants to sit down and doesn't remember how! She also will emphatically nod or shake her head for yes and no. She has also been trying to say lots of new things although most of it still sounds like gibberish to me.
