I'm so sorry for your loss. If your name is any indication, Jackson and Maxwell will be little fighters, too. I hope your family continues to do well, and that the NICU stay is uneventful.
Ahh I am just seeing this now! Congratulations, Fighter! I love all the names. Praying for a quick NICU stay and that Jackson and Maxwell are growing and thriving. Sending huge hugs for Carter...I can't imagine the emotions of the last week. Thoughts and prayers.
Late to this news. Congrats, a@fightersince83! I can't imagine the range of emotions you must be experiencing right now. Sending all the good vibes to you and your fam and I hope your sweet boys' stay in the nicu is both short and uneventful! We'll be thinking of you all.
So late to this, fightersince83 but wanted to send you my heartfelt best wishes through this roller coaster of a time. Please keep us posted on your 2 mini fighters!

Right now they are doing ok. The vent settings are on the lower end but we haven't been able to wean much. They are increasing their tube feedings and have started to digest the breast milk more. The Dr said our next big milestone would be 32 weeks. Right now they are 29+3. If they can get to tolerating 22ml during their tube feeds, then the PICC lines can be removed. Right now they are on 10 & 12 ml (but they started at 2 so it's progress).
Thanks for the update fightersince83! Thinking of and praying for you all often. How is your little one at home holding up?
She's good. She has had a string of cooties pretty much back to back (possible flu, then pink eye then cold) but hopefully it's the end of it. I've been giving her the extra BM that I'm pumping to help give her immune system a boost. She did get me sick so I haven't been able to visit the boys for almost a week now. I'm trying just about everything to get over this cold so I can go see them. Overall, the boys are doing well right now. Our NICU doesn't allow her to visit so she has yet to meet her brothers. It's for the best though since she's been so sick lately, plus we wouldn't be able to stay for very long or hold them if she were there without her getting into trouble.
fightersince83, oh wow. So sorry to hear she has been sick, and you as well! It must be so hard to not be able to see the boys. Praying you turn a corner soon and stay healthy! Hoping for a happy reunion for you all soon. Really glad to hear the boys are doing well! I know it may be a little bit still, but I'm sure when your daughter meets her brothers it will be such a special moment. Hugs!

Hey ladies, sorry I've been pretty MIA. The boys are actually doing pretty well. They are weaning their oxygen support and have been downgraded to an oxygen machine that gives less assistance than the nasal vent machine. They are still tube feeding but we'll try oral feeds in a couple weeks. They are almost 4 lbs now too. Overall, they are on the right track. They turned 1 month (32 weeks adjusted) this weekend which is crazy
