Happy Valentine's edition 3 things Tuesday

1.) I got flowers this morning, they look half dead but DH did get up and go buy them for me this morning before he leaves for work at 6 am! So I just said thanks. I also got a box of girl scout cookies so much for my resisting mary97 2.)Work tonight should be crazy hopefully I make good $$$ :-) 3.) DD is all about the V day balloon I got her it's pretty adorable

1. Happy Valentine's Day M 14 Mom's!!
2. I made ds1 heart shaped food this weekend. He loved it. He still did not eat it.
3. Ds1 ate dinner last night. He was shouting "more shrimp." This kid really likes seafood (shrimp and crab...need to see if he likes fish).
4. We are ordering Papa Johns tonight so we can get a heart shaped pizza and heart shaped brownie.
5. I never talk about ds2's eating habits. He eats anything I can give him.

1. I didn't get DS or DH anything for Valentine's day. After reading the randoms thread, I feel lame but it's probably too late. I was going to bake cookies with DS this weekend but he was sick.
2. Finally sent DS back to DC this morning. No fever but he was really cranky getting ready and then really sad when I left. I felt bad leaving him.
3. I'm not feeling work. I even looked to see if there were any positions at my old office, but there aren't. I feel like the commute is killing me.

1) We managed to dig out from yesterdays storm. The sidewalk snowbanks are over my head, it was insane.

2) I lost DS class list for his valentines so they are all addressed to 'My Friend'. I am sure I needed 12 since i counted the list while I was at the store but I panicked this morning after dropping him off that i didn't send enough. They are all getting a tube of bubbles and a press on tattoo

3) The people that looked at our house on Sunday were such time wasters I'm still pissed about it. It was a mum and dad looking for their son who may be thinking about moving back from Toronto.

Same with us for your #5. It's so refreshing to have a child eat. Plleeeaasseee let him be my good eater. I know DS1 was the same at this age too...

1. I took some V day pics of the boys this morning. They are on IG for your viewing pleasure.

2. You know how last week I was saying I pulled a muscle in my rib area? Well yesterday I sneezed and heard something pop/crack in the same area. It hurts. WTF is going on.

3. So my grandma is pretty well off. My cousin asked her for a "loan" to buy a house. She knows he will never be able to pay it back so she decided to give each grandchild the same amount as a gift. My mom told me about this late last year and said we would get it sometime this year but act surprised.

So we got a V day card from my grandma yesterday and the check was in it. I'm so grateful but kind of sad my mom ruined the surprise. I could not imagine how happy and surprised I would have felt opening that card and seeing that $$$. I would have screamed and done a dance. I know, must be nice, FWP, etc.

1. Woke up when Dh left for work with a headache. It did not get any better by the time the kids woke me up 2 hours later.
2. The kids are going to 've playing on their own a lot today on the porch.
3. I just cleaned the porch and put away all the toys yesterday.
4. 4.5 hours till nap time.

1. I made Peyton's valentine's with hearts and the message scout251 said -I'm stuck on you Valentine! They looked cute and she was happy to hand them to her friends when we got there. She finally said hi nicely to her friends today. Usually she says no until she warms up.

2. My friend sent me a text and said Happy Valentines today. This is such a change with him as every year he tells me how much he hates that day and never says it. Then sent me a video of an old singer singing Loving You. I am feeling very colour me confused with this guy.

3. I got out of work so unbelievably late last night and had to get Peyton. I work with the same girl tonight and am dreading closing so much!

2. I'm going to make a fancy dinner tonight. That's about all the celebration we're doing.

3. DH is off today, which is nice. He's currently wrangling the children while I am off in town. So I guess that is a bit of a gift too.

4. It's cold again after several really warm days. I wish the weather would make up its mind!

4. My boss went to this nice bakery and bought us cupcakes for Valentines day. I just chose a peanut butter and chocolate one and OMG it is to die for!

1. Tonight DH and DD1 are going to make homemade heart shaped pizza for dinner. I might run to the store later and get Valentine's tableware to make dinner more festive.

2. I got a glimmer of a smile from DD2 yesterday...it was beautiful and actually made me tear up a bit.

3. Our new double stroller is supposed to be delivered today. Sunday is supposed to be in the 50s and I'm excited to take the girls for a walk.

microworm I wouldn't mind having that problem...any plans for the money? Or are you going to be a responsible adult and save it?

1) H and I are doing a weekly lunch date to ensure we get adult time together. So we figured this week it might as well be today. We're going to a rather chic place and I am very much looking forward to it.

2) Got O a little kitty cat stuffy and a chocolate. Like mary97, decided to give it to her tonight instead of this morning. Otherwise it would have been chocolate for breakfast!

3) I'm getting all excited for our weekend away to Toronto. I'm challenged concentrating. Not like I have been especially focused lately at work.

scout251 I know it isn't a problem. It just would have been a really nice surprise, that's all.

I feel kind of guilty getting the money, like I don't deserve or really need it? Obviously we can use it, but I just feel weird about it. I think the plan is to pay off my car loan and H's grad school loans or maybe save for our next house purchase.

1. It's V-day??? Other than the kids activities, it's just another day for me.
2. I'm currently driving H's work vehicle until my new one comes. I HATE IT!!! It's old and ugly looking.
3. I really need to switch back to regular soda or just cut it out. But it tastes so good!

I can't believe you are at work today. If that fell around me work and schools would be closed for a week.

schools are still closed but the roads are pretty much clear now. The biggest problem is snow banks on corners so pulling out of turnings is kind of a game of risk. We got more snow yesterday than we did the whole winter last year

5. I bought presents for the girls while I was shopping. Just a reusable sticker book for DD1 and some little board books for DD2 but o feel better.

6. Picking up Chinese on the way home. Yum.

You shouldn't feel guilty! It's from family and it was given with love. Enjoy ☺

1. My coworker keeps referring to this form program we use as McForm. It's MachForm. McForm. Lol, I'll have a #6 with a McForm. I can't stop laughing and she legit thinks that's the name of the program. She even emails me about McForm. I'm dying.

2. Somebody brought in giant scones for us for V Day. Well, don't mind if I do... shove the entire thing in my face! So damn good.

3. I forgot next Monday was a holiday and booked the baby sitter. She turned down other work to take us so I'm not going to cancel. I might either clean out the basement or tag along with Dh on a work day trip up north.
