I ordered some new basic t shirts in my pre-pregnancy size. And then I ordered them again in one size up. I would love to say they are only tight in the bust, but that wouldn't be true.
Lesson learned.
I went to the consignment store to get a few more breastfeeding friendly shirts - prepregnancy, I would wear a small or medium (and usually medium was because the arms were too short, not because of the bust or stomach), and almost all the mediums I tried on were still too tight around my belly! I had to go back through the large rack. I did find a few shirts though, so at least I'm not wearing the 4 shirts all the time . . .
IVF+ICSI March 2016 (6R/5M/5F - 3 embryos on ice) 4/7/16: first ever BFP! EDD: 12/17/16 DS Arrived via C-Section 12/19/16! FET #1 June 2019 - 1 embryo didn't survive thaw & the one that did didn't stick around. BFN FET #2 September 2019 - last embryo didn't survive thaw.
I taped Reeses hearts to the dry erase board and drew hearts around them with everyones names on them. That's as creative as I'm getting today.
I have a billion things to do today before 1pm (when I have to go to the kids school for Valentines parties), which means Cora is going to refuse to let me put her down for naps.
crimpgirl I've run into that problem too 😔. Where do you get your basic tees from?
DYING over these Valentine's Day pictures. Will AW Nolan later. Getting ready to take the poor boy to his 2 month appt. he is in the BEST mood so I feel so bad taking him 🙁
Hugs for the appointment. I hope it's quick and as painless as possible.
It goes by weight. Cora's dose was 1.25ml at the last appt, but I think she's moved up to to the next dose now because I'm almost positive she's over 12lbs now.
I think it's 1/4 tsp, but maybe 1/2 tsp for your little chunk. 😉I had Tylenol with me and asked my pedi about giving it to him. She suggested I hold off to see how he was so we would know if he did have any issues or fever with the shots. He ended up being a little fussy while I was at swim class with the boys, but he was fine once I got home. He slept great that night and most of the next day without any fuss. Whew!! Good luck N!

I'm a bad mom. I forgot to get him a shirt for Valentine's Day. It was one of his brothers' last of the 1st "holidays" so their stuff was bigger and doesn't fit him. At least he's got a bib? I thought about running to BRU to see if they had anything left, but meh. I'm not buying it for 1/2 day. Maybe I'll take out the 12 month shirt and throw it on him! 😂

I'm supposed to be back to eating low carb now that I'm back to work (that was the agreement I had with myself) but then my boss brought in doughnuts and gave us all candy for V-day....maybe I'll start the low carb thing tomorrow, lol.
DD2 did pretty good yesterday, but she had a hard time falling asleep for my mom and sister, which doesn't surprise me b/c she's used to napping on me. She slept extra long last night, so I'm thinking she didn't rest as well yesterday...hopefully today will be a little smoother for her. I did good yesterday and only teared up once, when I was leaving her with them in the morning...I'm not thrilled to be back at work, but it wasn't as bad as I had it in my mind.

mrswillie I have nothing for DS for Valentine's Day, either. I don't even think he has anything red to wear.
I tried the cloth diaper thing again over the weekend. It's working out pretty well so far and he looks a little less ridiculous with the bulk around his bottom now that his body is a little bigger lol

We did Tylenol after the appointment, right when we got home yesterday. Under 12 pounds is 1.25 mL. The next dosage is 2.5 mL according to the dropper thing that comes with the medicine.
I could tell she was in pain because her cry was different and her legs were feverish, but after two doses and two long naps, she was smiling again. Today she's herself but still a little tired. Unfortunately the shots and meds did NOT make her sleep better.
Ugh thanks guys. My doc said not to give preemptively as it can reduce the effectiveness of the vaccines? I call BS...
My Doc said the same and I offered for her to take care of Jane after, she wasn't even in the room for the shots, it was her aide. Ugh. Next time I'm starting with Tylenol. I second BS

Wait, is infant Tylenol something I should have? I don't have any medicine-medicine (besides gas drops and gripe water) ... ahhhh
Oh yes! I didn't have any either until the night after her shots and it's a life saver if they get all crazy while the shots are still making them sore and icky feeling.

THat's pretty much how ours went. Our Dr said up to 2 mL so I did between the 1.25 and 2.5 and she only needed the one dose.

Last night and this morning was HELL. Jane cried non stop for two hours until we turned off all the lights and I laid down with her. I had already had a really stressful day. She didn't sleep as well as she normally does, but just wiggly mostly and this morning I tried my best not to wake her, but I had to change her before daycare so she got mad and peed on the bed I was changing her on. Oh well, time to wash the sheets anyways. I considered working from home, but I needed a break so I took her to daycare and that's the first day I took her there because I needed a break so I cried.
Now I'm at work with not much to do, but there's no screaming baby. I'll still pick her up early I'm sure. This cold I got last week will not die! Ugh. I'm going to start the new book from my book club and try to get some peace.
Cora sat in the bouncy chair long enough for me to shower, wax my eyebrows and almost blow dry my hair! So what if one brow ended up slightly thinner than I intended while I was waxing them at the speed of light. It's a Valentine's miracle.

FYI -- Infant and Children's tylenol is the same, and usually the same price or cheaper. The one marketed as infants comes with the tiny syringe though, but it's like 1/4 of the size of the Children's. The dosage is the exact same though. I bought a bottle of the children's and saved the syringe from the infants. They're both 160mg per tsp.
