akraus2015 I make my own granola bars that I usually have mid morning. I make it in a 9x9 pan and they last about a week. It's pretty easy (no baking) and simple ingredients. If you just search simple granola bars on pinterest some will pop up. I like doing steel cut oats or reg oats, peanut butter or almond butter, almonds, honey, and cranberries. Sometimes I'll add pumpkin seeds and flax seed too. It's fun playing with different combinations.
Okay I have a question for you lovely ladies. I can tell my appetite is increasing, and I'm not getting enough to eat in the mornings, so I end up making myself sick. My usual breakfast is a bagel or cereal, or sometimes a breakfast bar and piece of fruit. That seems like plenty, but I end up dizzy and hot and nauseous by like 10am.
My question is, do you have suggestions for a good hearty breakfast that doesn't require a ton of preparation? I don't get up early enough to scramble eggs or anything. Or should I just double up on what I usually have?
You probably need more protein to keep you going.
I don't have time to cook fresh eggs in the morning either, so I do one of two things:
1. Scramble a bunch and make breakfast burritos or sandwiches and freeze individually. They do really well reheated.
2. Make scrambled eggs in the microwave. It sounds weird, but it works decently well.
Oatmeal is also a good source of protein. Greek yogurt too.

I totally forgot about this...I used to do this all the time at my grandma's house when I was a little girl. Scrambled eggs with cheese in the microwave. Awwwww nostalgia!!
akraus2015 I make egg muffins and put them in the freezer...eggs cheese and veggies (I add hot sauce too) in muffin tin at 350 til set then freeze. Pop in microwave to reheat.
I am nearing the end of first tri and just started getting sick feeling mid morning, so I added second breakfast of yogurt or fruit and nuts and it seems to be helping.

I already whined about this in the randoms thread on A17 but I'm still feeling grumpy so I'm XPing.
MH's work asked him if he could alter his schedule significantly for the rest of this week so I'm going to have to be doing a lot of extra parenting duties. I've already been having a rough Mom week- DD's threenager attitude has been really tough on me, plus making the transition from diapers to underwear has gone well but has been exhausting to keep up with. Having to take on even more parenting responsibilities has me feeling bummed and guilty for being bummed and even more exhausted.
I just ordered girl scout cookies online so I can eat my feelings later. This seems like a solid decision.

Those sound delicious! So just one egg, scrambled, per muffin spot? Then add your veggies and cheese? How long do you bake?

Anyone want to recommend a safe medicine that treats nasal congestion colds? I'm going to target to pick up sweet tarts and a card for MH and I'd also like to find a medicine that treats just colds in your nasal cavity. It's not really in my sinuses, just in my nose.

Lots of food is what kept my nausea away. Keep eating!

I usually mix 6-10 eggs like I'm going to scramble them, add whatever goodies (sometimes bacon or sausage even), then pour it into the tins (spray with Pam or oil the first) and cook 25 min, give or take...once they're cooked through and no longer runny.

I'm not sure I know the difference in your nose and your sinuses, but Sudafed really helped me. I took it once at night and once the next morning and that was all I needed.

To me when I have sinus issues it's up in the front of my head by my eyebrows. My issue is mainly behind my nose....I think sudafed might be the right call though.

Whelp I am happy to report I say my baby who looks pretty good from what we could see but was flipping and flopping so much we couldn't see many things including the profile. We will have to wait three more weeks to learn the sex of our baby at least.

Just found a Hershey bar in the bottom of my purse! Apparently, past me knew that future me would be craving chocolate on Valentine's Day. Way to go, past me!

Mine was right behind my nose, too, and I couldn't breathe except out my mouth. I hope the medicine helps!

So, how long do I give a medical billing company to call me back about a billing screw up?
The company my MWs use billed my 28w app as a regular office visit, not as a prenatal ("supervision of pregnancy") visit. Because of this, it doesn't fall under my maternity coverage and the coverage for it is different. I called and left a message with someone yesterday about it since the account manager was out yesterday...
