Today I left DS with grandma for her first official baby sitting time. It went ok and it was nice to get to Bikram. I will bring more milk next time as this kid is eating like crazy and I just made it back in time.
I finally got rid of the plugged duct from yesterday. It's annoying it happened again. I am getting tired of my boobs being so huge. They look fake and so bad in shirts. I'm hoping they'll get a cup size smaller once I lose the last 11 pounds. I'm working out like crazy trying to get it off. It's slow, but Coming along.
After two months my boobs have finally calmed down. They still vary in size depending on when she last ate, but they're much softer, way less sore and rarely engorged or leaky. It's a huge relief.

Hello ladies!
Have been lurking while working on sleep with S. Our pedi said I need to stop holding her for naps and put her down sleepy but awake and at first I poo pooed it but it actually seems to be working not too bad. DS was a horrendous sleeper and she's not great but maybe in the normal camp. Also maybe I've realized that I need to try and have a better sleeper than DS -- he didn't sleep through the night until he was over two and my husband and I were so exhausted until then. And her reflux is so much better!
I've also been out and about and finally dedicated to losing the baby weight? I have 7.5 weeks until I go back to work and trying to lose 15 lbs before then. I'd need to lose 20 to get to my prepreg weight and 25 to get to my prepreg "work out four times a week and eat healthy weight." 15 lbs in that timeframe seems kind of insane but since I've built in a little cushion maaaaaybe doable? We'll have to see -- no starving myself! I have realized I need to clean up my diet though and on the days I'm not working out at least getting outside for a walk.
The next few months are really going to fly by! Planning a baby shower for my bestie, need to do our taxes, need to prepare/pack for vacation. Now that I'm a little better rested I'm trying to get stuff done during the day!
Alex has napped poorly today. Only an hr here and there. I'm scared of what the night will bring.
But looking fwd to tomorrow...the start of 60 degree weather!
We're in the same boat over here. Terrible naps. I fear we're in for a rough night.
Alex slept ok during the night. It was putting him down that took forever. I finally got him sleeping using the rocking chair, pacifier and the shush video lucy posted. Once he was down I left the shusher on in his crib for another 30 min. I'll be trying that video out again and see if it's what helped. I know it was putting me to sleep!

@kc295905 congrats on hitting your back to work weight! That's awesome. Weight loss is going slower for me too, but I think a lot of it is poor eating. Breastfeeding makes me so hungry but instead of reaching for good food I'm having frozen pizza. I mean nothing wrong with that but not four times a week!

I hope Alex slept well at night! Riker is hardly sleeping during the day now, but sleeping well at night. It's harder to do things during the day, but I'm happy to get better sleep at night.
He did. He didn't go down until 11:30pm tho. We need to work on bedtime. Yesterday I felt weird cleaning and having him sit and watch me. But what else do babies do?
