Morning! S is still sleeping pretty crappy so I'm going to call her pedi today. She's also been sweaty/clammy when she's nursing which isn't normal for her. This started before her tube surgery so I don't think it's because of that. In other news it's supposed to get to 66 today so I'm pumped. We are meeting friends at the zoo after nap this afternoon. Then this evening I made plans with my sister to get a grande marg. I need the break.
I have a sore throat. I AM NOT GETTING SICK AGAIN. Going to flood myself with emergen-C and airborne and gallons of water. Ugh. Lu is sniffly but that's not new. Hoping for a decent nap now so I can get some stuff done. Nothing exciting happening here...

R is at daycare for the first time this week and I am enjoying the quiet while working from home. R slept terribly last night. I was up with her three times for a total of about two hours. I had double coffee this morning.
That sounds like fun. I wish we had an aquarium closer. We have kind of a mini aquarium but it's just not the same.
We have an aquarium but it's SO expensive. Even with passes from the library (which make admission cheaper, not free), parking is $37. Wtf.
Ours is crazy too, but H'S company is a big sponsor so it's free for us this month. otherwise, we've never gone because if I'm going to drop $100, it's not going to be to look at fish.

Haha 100%. Maybe as a trip once the kids can both enjoy it and learn from it, etc... but not so babies can stare at fish. She's just as happy watching the lobsters at the grocery store

Sorry for all the sickness and bad sleep, guys. 😩 I'm at work today although my staff all has the day off so I'm working like crazy to catch up on paperwork. I'm getting my hair colored later (have to cover these grays before the birthday party pictures next weekend!) and I just got an email that her birthday tutu and onesie shipped from the Etsy seller. Woohoo!
We were finally able to leave the house today!!!! Although overnight the plow went by again, so I had to clear the end of the driveway yet again. We're running out of places to put the snow. Right now, all the snowbanks are taller than me. I'm 5'9", so, that's a lot of snow.
So we went to Walmart. DD decided to hop around the entire store and say hi to everyone. So I think she had a bit of cabin fever the last few days too lol
I'm busy doing all the final prep for his birthday party tomorrow. I'm stressing, so much to do. His scrapbook is done up to this past month, and if I don't get those pages done I'm okay with that. I did get a banner made to hang on his high chair for a picture. Still have to get groceries, make his cake, and finish cleaning the house.
We still haven't left the house. X is refusing to nap at all, and we can't go until he at least gets a semi-decent nap, because that will likely be the only one for the day. I've spent like 2 collective hours this morning trying to get him down. H is annoying me. I just want 5 minutes to myself. Maybe I'll jump in the shark tank if we ever make it there. :-P
Fffc: first a little back story. The pack n play that S sleeps in (or is supposed to sleep in) is right next to the door to the master bath. The door is a pocket door so I avoid using it if she's sleeping. In the morning I will just go in there in the dark, go potty, and then go back and flush later so I don't wake her. This morning that exact thing happened, except I never ran back in there to flush. I was face timing with my sister and realized she wasn't playing on the floor in the living room anymore. I looked for her in H's room, the main bath and then I went into my room. Turned the corner and she was standing at the edge of the toilet. She had reached into the toilet, grabbed the wet soggy toilet paper and put it in her mouth!! So gross!! Don't worry I washed her hands, mouth and brushed her teeth.

@tkford216 good luck with the party tomorrow, and trtlcrzy I'm so jealous of your marg (which you need even more after your story above, I'm sure).
My company is moving offices and has a moving party starting at 4 eastern. Which means I'm done working at 1 pacific woooo! I'm planning on getting my nails done and picking V up early from daycare.

Hork.
These kids and toilets I tell you. It's C's favourite activity if we accidentally leave the lid up (to play that is. No soggy toilet paper - yet)
leahks77, I wish I had a real answer for you though. My mom used to use a good pizza dough recipe that we actually got from my 8th grade home ec class. I can ask if she still has it.
Other than that, we actually used to order just dough and pepperoni from a local pizza place when I was teen, and make "homemade" pizza that way.

Hey ladies. I'm recovering from a stomach bug and trying to work and prep for L's birthday party all at the same time. It seems like there is so much to do before 2pm tomorrow and all I want is to lay on the bathroom floor and have a pity party instead. I hate I haven't been able to be around here much lately, but hopefully things will settle after tomorrow and I can "hang out" with you all more. Then it'll be on to planning SS's birthday party...it never ends.
