We had her checkup yesterday and she is 16lbs and 27.5"! She has moved mostly into 9 month clothes, but still not rocking shoes 😉.
She is starting to love food and trying new things, so we are finally branching out a bit - getting into finger foods more and more adventurous purées.
She is saying mama and dada but not sure she knows what that means yet. She definitely knows her name and will look at the camera when we ask her too. 😊. I think she knows "dog" cause she seems to look for the dog when we say it.
She sits up but is not crawling or pulling up yet. When we stand her up on us she seems really strong so I wouldn't put it past her to skip crawling and just start walking (I'm not ready!).
She loves to smile and laughs so easily, which melts my heart. She will bob to music, which is awesome and loves to hear her Dad play guitar. Every day is a new fun adventure!!
A is 9 months old yesterday! 19 pounds, no clue on length. She crawls and pulls up on everything and desperately wants to walk. She loves finger foods-blueberries are her favorite. She takes two mostly crappy naps a day and is doing well at night. Size 3 diapers, 9 month clothes and some 9-12 months (which is the toddler size at Target!!!! That makes me sad!!!) She smiles all the time, but NEVER laughs, haha! She is very social and loves to smile at strangers. 4 teeth. Hates to be put down. Says mama and dada randomly, don't think she knows what they mean. That's all I can think of!

My sweet DS turned 9 months last week and he had his 9 month physical today. He weighs 17lb 7oz (15th percentile) and is 27.75 inches long (20th percentile). He's wearing mostly 6-9 month or 6-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
He rocks a bad-ass army crawl but doesn't crawl on all fours yet. He will stand holding on but isn't pulling up yet. He babbles but prefers consonants that sound like bvvv or kkxxx instead of the nice traditional mama and dada. He loves to feed himself and is busy refining a pincher grasp. He's not a fan of sippy cups. He's eating solids 3 meals a day, lots more finger foods, some purees. He's really branching out and loves all sorts of different things. He sleeps very well, rarely cries, and is overall such a sweet, mellow, happy boy!
C turned 9 months last Saturday. She had her pedi appointment on Monday. She is 18lbs,5oz (average weight) and 26.25 inches (still a shorty). She wears size 6-9/ 9 month clothing, size 3 diapers. She's not crawling yet, but last night she finally pulled up on all fours so maybe it's coming. She definitely prefers standing and will squeal with delight if you assist her with walking. Her primary sound is dadadadada mixed with lots of high pitched squealing. She loves dogs (ours, my moms, our friends'). She is eating mostly purees. She still doesn't have teeth so I've been nervous to feed her a lot of regular food, but she has had mashed potatoes, bread/biscuits, and a few other things. She finally figured out how to use a sippy cup.
Remi is 9 months but doesn't have his appt till later this month. He is 19 ish pounds maybe 20. He is in 12 months clothes and using up the rest of his size 3 diapers. He is crawling but does a mix of crawling and pulling himself. He loves standing up and is starting to use his walker. He loves to eat and is still doing a mix of purées and then tiny portions of whatever we're eating at the table. He loves avocado, tofu, turkey and smoothies. He drinks water from a sippy and can drink by himself. He says dadada and babbles other consonants. He mimics big brother and they enjoy having squealing competitions. He is starting to recognize more words (dog, mama, brother, papa, grandma). He has one tooth fully in and two coming in. He sleeps like shit at night and naps twice a day for 1- 1/2 hours in the ergo. He laughs and giggles and his favorite thing is peek a boo with the curtain during diaper changes. It makes him belly laugh every time.

Emma is 9 months today. Our appointment isn't until next month but she's a chunk at 19 lbs. She's in 12 mo clothes but with the fluff butt we may have to move her up to 18 mo soon. She is a speed crawler, pulls up on everything. In the last day or so she's been standing for a few seconds without holding on to anything. She LOVES food, especially shredded meats and fruit. She's getting pretty good with her water sippy cups. She loves her big sister but is starting to get jealous (will scream if I pick big sister up). She can say mama 😍 and just generally babbles and screeches. Sleep at night sucks she takes one decent nap and maybe another cat nap.
Bad news: DS is heavy as hell. Good news: my biceps are actually fairly impressive when I flex! DS is 30 inches tall, and he weighs 20lbs, 13 oz. he saw the pedi today and was proclaimed "perfect" by our doctor (a sweet and very enthusiastic man, as you can imagine). Apparently he's on track developmentally and what more can we ask? No crawling yet, he's still doing the army crawl. But just like his dad, he has a giant head to carry around so I can't really blame him.

C is steadily falling down in percentiles, but he's still 50th+ in everything and the pedi's not worried, so I'm just keeping an eye on it. 19 pounds, 27-8 inches.
He is super mobile, which might be one reason for the weight. He crawls speedily, cruises, pulls to stand. I don't think he's close to walking or standing unassisted.
He uses "dada" for everything, but can also say "mama" and "nana." I don't think he knows the meaning of words, just that there's something special about particular sounds (they'll get people to come, or cheer, lol). But then, when I say "turn the page," he does, so I'm not certain.
I put him in all the sizes. He wears 6-12 and 12-18. 9 month is good except in sleepers. He's in size 4 diapers, in that magical time with no blowouts.
Sleep training went very well and he goes down most nights without fuss. He has 1-2 wakeup and is an early bird, getting up at 5 or (now with DST) 6.
He is a happy fellow, for which I am so grateful. My sweet squish!

E hit 9 months last week. He was 18 lbs, 9 oz (30-some percentile, I think) at his appointment. About 28 inches. Still has 8 teeth. Wears 9 and 12 month clothing.
He's a sweetheart. He gives hugs and open-mouth kisses, smiles and giggles constantly, and appears truly enamored with his sister. He also gets so excited to see me when I pick him up that my heart just explodes. He army crawls. He makes all sorts of noises. He said "mama" once in context, or so I tell myself. He signs for "milk" and "more" pretty reliably. He tries to put the rings back on the ringholder...after banging them for awhile. He's pretty great with independent play.
We had a respite from illness for maybe a month? But it's back. I truly hope spring is coming, and it helps.
Finally had our 9 month appointment. P is 19 lbs 8 oz - and 28 something inches tall and has a big head. Still just 2 teeth. All kinds of clothing sizes - since most are hand me downs, a lot shrunk so she was wearing a 2T shirt the other day. But probably 12 month if its new. Crawling and pulling up on things, babbling, waving, and just starting signing which is adorable. Loves her sister and now that she can crawl pretty much follows her everywhere. Naps nicely and sleeps like crap overnight. Refuses bottles when I'm at work. Eats just about anything you put in front of her and I'm working towards getting away from purees. Loves looking out the window and being outside. Doesn't like being in her car seat. And loves babbling with her hand or a toy on and off her mouth babababababa.

DS is also coming down in percentiles at 21 pounds and 29 inches today at 9 months. He's still a super chunk so I'm not worried at all. He is still bf and eating two solid meals plus a snack daily. He's in 12-18 month clothes and size 4 diapers. He's crawling all over, pulling himself up, and cruising a little along the couch. He says all done, dada and hi and signs more but I'm not sure he really knows what they mean yet. Two teeth and knows how to use them!! He is consistently up 3 times a night but is better about getting himself to sleep. He's getting to be so fun and loves playing with big brother and giving kisses and hugs.

Tumble-tot had his 9mo appointment a few days ago, but he's closer to 9.5 months. He's 30" and 22lbs. Size 4 diapers and size 12mo clothes. He's pulling up on everything and will walk while holding onto stuff all day long. No crawling, and pedi thinks he's going to skip it. Four teeth. Super social and smiles at strangers on the subway like he knows them and has been expecting them to get on. It's really funny. He loves avocado, peanutbutter, prunes, banana, butternut squash with pear, and peach the most. We give him all the veg purées too, but he's not as enthusiastic. He picks up puffs and eats them, as well as little pieces of bread. He belly laughs when people make funny voices or sounds. He nurses a few times each night, but is in bed between 10 and 12 hours a night. He needs two to three naps each day or else he is super cranky. He says mama, dada, dog, and hi. He also mimics a bunch of other words, but I'm not sure he means to. Babbles all the time though, and talks in his sleep! !
DS2 turned 9 months on the 17th. He has outgrown all of his 12 month clothes and is wearing 18 months. He wears size 5 diapers. He's crawling a lot, walks along furniture and he can stand on his own for about 5 seconds then he slowly lowers himself to the ground. He has one tooth and the second one has almost popped through, so he has been really upset and not sleeping. He's still nursing a kajillion times a day. He eats 3 meals a day and may have a snack. He's really into finger food now and wants to eat whatever I'm having and he still likes purées, so he has both. He says mama all of the time and he has said dada a handful of times. He tries to mimic sounds that I say and what his brother and sister say and do. He can wave if he feels like it, but he still won't clap. He seems so grown up now. It makes me a little sad, but I love the little person he's becoming.
Late for this since I was MIA due to being off work for a week and then a mini vaca.
The kiddos turned 9 months last Monday and had their well visit Friday.
L is 18 lb 4 oz and 27.5 in tall. She's in 9 and 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers at night and cloth during the day. As of yesterday she finally cut her first tooth! She is such a happy, content baby. She's so easy. She loves her sleep, her pacifier, telling us stories, the dog, trying to chew the dog's bone, and she loves to feed herself. She's mastered crawling backwards and is still slowly working on going forward. Lots of entertaining yoga poses happening as she learns. She absolutely hates getting her nose picked, but I can't really blame her there. She looks just like her daddy (except prettier) and is such a blessing!
G is 19 lb even and 28 in tall. He's also in 9 and 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers at night and cloth during the day. He has his 2 bottom teeth and has been working on top fangs and the other 2 bottoms for at least a couple of weeks now. They look like they're SO CLOSE but haven't cut through yet. I wish they would hurry it up! He is a crawling machine these days. It's amazing how fast he has gotten in the short time he's been crawling. He's almost mastered pulling himself up as well. He is such a dynamic kid. When he's happy he gives the biggest grins and laughs, and when he's mad he's MAD. Keeps us on our toes for sure. He's still experiencing the bedtime separation anxiety, so I have to stand next to the crib until he calms down and starts to fall asleep or he'll freak out. It's slowly been getting better. He loves purees and being fed. Not interested in feeding himself, just smacking the food or grabbing it and holding it in his fists. His favorite activities lately are splashing in the bath, trying to investigate the dog's butthole, finding every well-hidden cord he can in a room full of toys, and standing at the sliding door to look out at the backyard. He's such a fun, ornery little guy!
It really is amazing how different they are and how much I love them!
Dude's 9 months! 8 teeth, stood for like 20 seconds the other day, waves bye to me in the morning and waves hi to dogs we see out & about, says Kah for cat and Da for dog, and Mamamama when he's upset. Size 3 diapers during the day & size 4 overnight. I don't know his weight or height but he's tall. 12m pjs & pants fit him well & 9-12 onesies. He loves peek a boo and when his dad tosses him up in the air. He sings along to Love on the Brain and really enjoys music class. I can't get enough of him. ❤️
DS was 9 months on the 1st. He was 19lbs 14oz and 28.75 inches (although I think I helped measured wrong). He's in 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers. He still just army crawls and loves pulling up on things. His favorite thing to do is pull all the books off of the end table. He's a huge fan of riding his singing dog toy around the house, my back is not a fan of this. He loves meatballs, blueberries and yogurt. He still nurses a few times a day and has his bottles at daycare. He's the sweetest cutest thing, and I'm so lucky to call him mine.
DD turned 9 months a little over a week ago, but just had her appointment yesterday. She's 18 lbs, 10 oz and 29" long. She's the sweetest little babe ever, loves to smile and laugh. She eats solids 3x/day and still nurses lots too. Sleep trying is still working. She sleeps 12 hrs at night with about one wake up to nurse. I love her the most!
