I'm excited for dinner tonight. They had chicken cordon bleu at Sprouts so we will have that with sweet potato fries and roasted asparagus. Asparagus was so cheap today! I got a lot.
I love when it goes on sale. I bought a bunch as well- so delicious!

I finally went to check on DD1 and she had thrown up all in her bed. So now I feel like a terrible mom for not checking sooner, and I'm scared for the night ahead. 😩
If she was up there singing and happy I know no one who would have gone in. Dont feel bad at all
I am just about to head out to the store and will be joining all of you soon with wine. I got almost all of my weekend chores done so I'm kicking my feet up and not doing anything else the rest of the day.

Currently enjoying a Great Lakes Irish ale (my fav!), but may switch to red wine soon. It was such a gorgeous day in Ohio today. I have serious spring fever now.
I got H an echo for Valentine's Day and I am enjoying listening to random music on it. Right now it is hits from he 90's. takes me back.
My boss brought me some edibles from her trip to CO. DH and I are planning on eating those tonight after DS goes to bed. He won a dozen Krispy Kreme's at his faculty meeting yesterday so...I'm a little worried about what might happen.

giantpeach old vine zinfandels are my favorite. Ravenswood zin is a good lower price point one, just as good as some of the more expensive ones IMO. I also like 7 Deadly Zins. My favorite is Predator Old Vibe Zin but I can only find it at Bev Mo around here.
I also like red blends like any of the Apothic reds (the regular one is my favorite).
For white wines I like rieslings which I know is unpopular around here. Chateau Ste Michelle is my go to.
Good lord woman, you are my wine spirit animal kill spirit mind twin all rolled into one. You literally just named my three go-to Zins by price point. And you know I'm all about the Apothics too.
giantpeach, I also love red blends. You can get good ones at decent price points because they are blends of different grapes - they don't have to be all the top top quality. Our current favorite is Cocobon. In addition to Apothic, I also like Ménage à Trois (Midnight), Dark Horse Big Red Blend, and Bogle Essential Red (I like all the Bogle wines, reds and whites, actually).
I am not a big white drinker at this time of year. I do blends, Chardonnay (mostly unoaked), and Sauvignon Blanc. Chateau Ste Michelle is a good brand in general. I like Bancott Estate Sauv Blanc. Occasionally Riesling or Gewürztraminer, also rosé in the summer.
