While waiting in the car, while DH ran into a store quickly: Bub: "mom, can I have some ice cream?" Me: "well we don't have any ice cream here. maybe when we get home" Bub: "can I have some ice cream at home?" Me: "sure" Bub: "thanks for saying yes, mom" Me: "um, you're welcome" Bub: "thanks for saying yes, cuz dad said no."
DS just came in to rat out DH for knocking him over. The most pathetic little whine, "mom, dad knock me over!" I suspect DS was trying to climb on him from the commotion I heard coming from the living room just before that. So I asked DS if he was doing something he wasn't supposed to do. And he told me the following story: "Dad was sitting in the brown chair. I just wanted to put my feet in his mouth. I was climbing on his leg, and he moved his leg and I fell over!" LOL
I sent him back in to apologize for putting his feet in dad's mouth, and DH apologized too, and then they had popsicles. I followed up with DH and he said that was a pretty accurate account of what happened.
DH and and I both picked up DD from daycare the other day. I asked who she wanted to ride home with but wouldn't answer so I said I'd go with DH and she could drive my car home. She got upset and said she couldn't drive because she's not a momma yet.
DS is in a "dada do" phase. I was trying to dress him today and instead of yelling "dada do!" in my face, he turned it into a little song. I couldn't even be mad, it was pretty catchy.
Ds wants to drive a "car." He climbed in and sat in the drivers seat and I was in the passenger seat. He pushed all buttons and kept trying to steer the wheel. He was very upset to be dragged away from it!
Our power is out. Ds brought the remote to our living room light to me crying because it needed "new batteries." He couldn't understand electricity being out.

Every day when we get home from DC/work, I go to take him out of his seat and he matter of factly says "I drive car." Then he must take off his coat and shoes because apparently they hinder his driving ability. He proceeds to play with all my mirrors and lights and settings. I regularly get in my car in the morning and have to readjust all my mirrors. But he loves it so I let him KOKO with his "driving."

This is one of dd's favorite activities as well. It's simmered a bit since its cold and we're not outside that often, but when it was warmer she'd start with "daddy I wanna play outside," then beeline to his car.
I put DS face lotion on followed by pj's which is the worst thing I can do ever. DS sobbing: call daddy I call H DS: daddy, mummy hit me. Mummy hurt me. I'm crying!

Ds1 cuddling with me Ds: you got a big nose Me: thank you Ds: (looking at my neck) I see a booger Me: maybe, but it's not my booger (probably from him or baby) Ds: yes it is
In the middle of putting on his PJs. He has his pull up on, and his shirt. I was about to put on his PJ pants and he says "first take my shirt off so I can walk around in my diaper like a baby?" What an odd request. But but I did, and he ran around in just his pull up and laughed and laughed
