ampaints, thanks for checking in! Today was also stressful but once H got home he took over and I got a ton done so that I basically only have one load of laundry to do tomorrow! I'm currently drinking champagne on the couch with MH.
I'm excited to get pictures of M for the next two weekends! Sunday he's going to be a model for our photographer's spring photo setup. Then next weekend she's doing Dr Seuss minis!
A friend took the bottom out of the crib completely, so just the mattress was on the floor. As long as there isn't a crawlable/get stuckable gap between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the crib sides, it might be doable. It bought her a few more months (she had a newborn and just didn't want to deal with the transition right then). Alternatively, could he wear sleep sacks where you sew the legs together so he can't get a leg up? Or, could he sleep in the pack and play (might be harder to escape and it's less distance to fall to the floor).
You have all of my sympathies. I waited until my older two climbed out before I made the transition. Both were around 18 months.

runningmommy519, I'd be down for a MN GTG! MH and I are overdue for a MN trip— he's from western Minnesota, and went to HS and college in Minneapolis. We've got some friends there!
