Guys, last night was crazy. My parents flew back from Hawaii last night, landed at midnight. So I went to bed at 8:30 to be ready to get up and pick them up. Drive to the airport, park and turn the car off to wait. DH calls. DD threw up all over herself and her bed (for the first time ever) and was choking on it and it woke him out of a dead sleep panicked. Walk him through what to do with her and where to put the puked on stuff. My mom calls, they're ready to be picked up. Try to turn the car on, battery is dead. So now DH and DD have to come rescue all of us at the airport at 1am, and not all my parents stuff will fit in our car with all 5 of us. So we had to leave my Dad's car at the airport gas station with half their stuff locked in it. And we had to be out the door at 7:30 this morning to drop DD off before my ultrasound. Naps will be had by me and DD this afternoon for sure
IUI 1-3 BFN IVF #1 - Oct '15 - 10R, 3M, 0F IVF #2 - August 16 - 12R, 11M, 5F. 1 to transfer and 2 to freeze - BFP!! - MMC caught at 7w5d FET #1 - 1/26 - BFP, due 10/14
My hope is they can do belly ultrasound instead of vaginal one since it is almost the 10 weeks. I hate that vagina probe.
I had a regular ultrasound yesterday at ~8 weeks (measuring about 9 weeks though). FX that the silver lining to waiting so long is skipping the internal ultrasound.
Welp, I just told my supervisor. She asked. So at least that's out of the way.
😲Supervisors should NEVER ask if an employee is pregnant 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
But glad you got it out of the way!
She didn't directly. I'm very open with her and she knows we've been going through fertility treatments. So when I told her I had a follow up appointment next week, she asked, "Good news?" and I spilled. She practically spazzed out of excitement for us. :)
Morning. I am exhausted. I had so much trouble getting to sleep last night then when I woke at 3:30 to pee, I couldn't get back to sleep. I have a dentist appointment in 45 minutes and I think I will head home to nap after. I also made my first prenatal appointment for March 10th. Only 17 days to go and I think i will be anxious until then. It is very strange not getting betas done or getting a super early ultrasound this time around.
The second half of your post could have been posted by me! First appointment on March 10th and also unsettled by not having the early betas and ultrasounds this time around. Hope you get a nice nap though!
Went to Costco today and bought a little sleeper for this baby. Seeing it on the ultrasound this morning made me feel much more positive that this is our rainbow and I decided to celebrate that by buying it something new!
This makes my heart happy. I'm looking forward to so many of us meeting our rainbows in October. <3

Heard back from the OB coordinator and I'll have a dating u/s on 3/13 @7w3d and we also scheduled an appointment at 10w and 12w.
Went to the gym and told my trainer, she's excited and kinda knew it would happen. I hope I can keep feeling good in the mornings so I can continue working out.

I hope sleep returns soon to those of you suffering pregsomnia!
@slmck That is a rough morning! I'm glad you had a good ultrasound, and yay for new baby things!
DS and I had a play date with a group of moms this morning, and now he's passed out for nap. It's another beautiful day outside here, 56* F, so we're definitely going for a walk once he's up. This weather makes me so happy!

Ah! I work in HR so my mind immediately goes to a different place when I hear pregnant/supervisor/employer. I'm glad you have such a wonderful, supportive supervisor!

Hahah, I understand! She's very ethics-minded, so if we didn't have the relationship we do, I'm certain she wouldn't have even hinted. :)

Sooo I was browsing prepared foods at the grocery store, and I took a chance on a dish labeled only as "pasta" ("noodles" would have been more accurate, really). It is....not good. Like the first bite was okay, but then I really dug in and all I taste is salt. Yuck. It was one of the only things that has looked appetizing to me all day! So disappointed.
