Seriously I've taken the train 12 times since my return (6 days) and it's been late or delayed 4 times. Like really? That's a TERRIBLE percentage. Im so annoyed

Our city is in the process of putting in a light rail system so public transit is a mess (not that it was a great system before). DH's busses are often late or no-shows. So frustrating.

I was so eager to get out of the house today! We went for a walk outside before lunch and then to a gymnastics drop-in in the afternoon. DD1 was being difficult earlier and then culminated in a full-scale public tantrum (please tell me mine is not the only 3.75 year old who does this). When she calmed down at home she claimed she felt hot and her throat was sore (from this morning not just due to the tantrum). So I cancelled dinner with my dad and step-mom yet again this week and made her some soup and sent her to bed early. I have my suspicions that she's manipulating so I 'care' for her enough that it will discourage her in the future but help her if she's actually sick.

I'm still glad we went to gymnastics because DD2 and DS did great. DS is a climber and explorer so getting him out places he can really do so is good for him. He is literally climbing the furniture at home when we're stuck in the house. I am so looking forward to spring!
