iqeb I miss front carry so much. Back carry is nice but I love the front carry snuggles, even from a 30 lb toddler!
I mostly hip carry because it feels very helpless to have her start crying in a back carry and not be able to do anything but talk to her because we're a mile plus from home with the dog. But my neck does not love the hip carry. Thankfully mine is only 22 lb.
Also, looking forward to pregnancy brain being gone.. I stood outside my boss's office for 5 minutes completely forgetting why I was there.. (mom brain wasn't anywhere as bad as this)
I'm also not "over" being pregnant but I'm just over halfway, so I'm sure it will come.
Things I am looking forward to: 1. More than a half-glass of wine every now and then 2. Bourbon 3. Less heartburn 4. Does pregnancy brain go away? 5. Not worrying about the fetus, though I'm sure it will just change to worrying about the child.
I'm just hoping I have any brain at the end of this. I feel like I'm constantly forgetting something and most of the time I'm not wrong.
+1. I just remembered today we haven't done our taxes yet. Granted, that involves scanning/saving our forms and emailing them to my FIL who is a CPA and does them for us out of the niceness of his heart. But still have to actually do that.
marshian , nice. I want a CPA as a family member. We're going to a tax person tomorrow.
I don't want to do my taxes at all :(
Man, I'm so looking forward to my taxes next year, assuming the baby cooperates. I'm anticipating the first decent tax return since getting married. ;D

I'm interested in hearing what my FIL wants is to do next year since we currently file jointly and don't itemize.

We always file jointly with the standard deduction, too! But we'll have a dependent, so that'll help. Plus, we've decided to keep all our medical receipts for this year, just in case itemizing is better than standard because of it.

I usually do my taxes with Intuit software but this year since I work with 20 tax accountants in an accounting firm I feel I should use our software and like ask them for help... the horror!

Itemizing is always better IMO. And if you have tons of medical payments file married/separate to get the best return from those.

Our taxes are already done, filed and returned.....and spent. I like to be on top of things. Our outrageous medical bills from IVF gave us a decent payback. We're having our back yard completely leveled and reseeded with our return. I can't wait. It's a swamp back there because there's so many valleys for water to pool in.

In our case, itemizing has always given us less credit/return. But maybe this year it'll be different!
