+1 to waking up crazy early. DS did the same thing around this age. It sucks but won't last forever. I'm really tired of waking up for he day at 4:30...
Our HR guy at work happens to be the owner's son (dumbest idea ever and should NOT be allowed!) has seriously only worked a total of 8 hours so far this week. His dad is out of the office this week so he comes and goes as he pleases, comes in late, takes 2 hour lunches, leaves early. Today he had enough nerve to leave at 2:45 and says to us "enjoy the nice weather!" WTF. Please explain to me HOW?!?! One of us gets out at 4:30 and me and my other co-worker get out at 5. That leaves zero time to enjoy the weather when you have to go home, cook dinner, feed kids, get them ready for bed....I can't even take them outside before it gets dark! He seriously gets under my skin on a daily basis.
Same here. I think I remember my DD Having one around 12 months. Somehow Brady's already crappy sleep has gotten worse. We've always had 2 wake ups anyway. We're having the one hour wakeups too. Even giving him a bottle he still flips out afterwards. Last night he flopped over on our bed, fell asleep and somehow a miracle happened and I was able to transfer him back to his room.
Have you decided how you are going to do the transition to wcm with the MOTN feeding? I'm sort of trying to reduce the amount of formula J takes at night over time so he is weaned at a year, but it's not going well. I'm stuck at 3 oz because I'm afraid doing less will make his sleep even worse.
I'm worried about this. We are down to 4oz but not every nite. It's only the nites he's really awake and won't calm down. I think I'll try the water down and make just water.

I hate those nights where J won't go to sleep so we try all these things only to give up and put her in her bouncer or on the floor, and then she poops...

Last weekend we planted a tree in our backyard. The weather's been pretty nice the whole week so I've been taking Jubilee outside for a bit every day. Most of the time she'd try to lift her legs off the mostly dead grass, and her favorite part was going to touch the leaves on the tree.
Yesterday we started redoing the landscaping in the front yard and had her sitting on the grass. She finally decided that it wasn't so bad and was army crawling across it. Today (still working on the landscape) she was playing with rocks, getting dirty, and of course trying to eat the bushes and various other items. I think she might be a fan...
We went out to dinner last night and the waiter kept petting J's hair. He was telling us about his kids' hair and just being affectionate. He also brought J food and water. It was still odd. I don't want a stranger touching my baby.
We were walking home Friday after meeting H at the train station. This man in our neighborhood (I don't know his name but he's commented on the baby before) was like "oh, baby, you're coming home with me!" H was holding J and let the man hold her, and when H said "okay, J, let's go have dinner!" the man started inching away like he was actually going to take her. H was all HAHA how funny while I had to stop myself from lunging and ripping my kid out of his arms.
And then I told H that we DONT LET STRANGERS HOLD OUR KID WTF.

I would avoid this man at all costs in the future and if keep my cellphone in my hand when he is near. I have the heebie jeebies thinking about what could have happened.

He's probably completely harmless, and I at least know what house he lives in. But yeah, it bothered me.

It's just weird. I have joked before with other kids that "i'm going to steal you" but I've never held them and inched away from the parents. Yikes!

I think I would have throat punched H for letting a stranger hold LO. Not that LO would tolerate that either. But I definitely would have flipped on that man!
I once went all crazy mama bear on my cousin's GF, when she went into the room where LO was sleeping bc she heard her making noise.
