I had some weight loss success with the 21 day fix. I really liked the containers that help with portion control. I did the 30 min workout videos almost days, but I'd really like to get a treadmill or bike or something to workout inside. It gets way to hot to run/walk outside after work and I don't go out after dark to workout
+1 on the 21 Day Fix. I just didn't subtract the 400 cals or whatever they suggest when you calculate your containers when I was BFing. After DS was weaned I did another 2 rounds with the 400 calculated. I loved that the containers made me more mindful not only of how much I was eating, but how much in each category. It helped me distribute my healthy food choices a lot better. Plus you can save the yellow containers for wine 😉 The workouts were also good because they were all only 25-30 min so perfect to squeeze in during a baby nap. In the spring/summer/fall I'd usually still go for a run as usual and would just do the workout on top of it, but only because I love to run outside. I also had good success doing the workouts alone. Highly recommend! (And I don't sell Beachbody hahaha)
I was just reading DS his "I'm a Big Brother" book we got him and he lifts up my shirt, sticks his finger in my belly button and said "want to hug baby. Mommy get it out?" Sorry kiddo, you have to wait 11 more weeks!

setsuna17, I got the Lillebaby Complete Airflow. Living in FL I figured I need one that breathes better than others. We had a Baby Bjorn for DD and that thing was so hot. MH plans on still using that (if we can find it and clean it) but I wanted something else.
I put on 38 pounds with DS1, and only dropped 9 when I walked out of the hospital. I dropped another 11 (for a total of 20) by the end of week 1. About another 5 came off by adjusting my eating habits until I was cleared for exercise. It took a lot of exercise for a few weeks to get those last pounds off. By the time I went back to work at 10 weeks, I was at my goal weight again but I worked out 4-5 times a week during naps. (Disclaimer: I retained a lot of water weight in third tri which contributed to a good chunk of the weight gain..)

Although I have had moderate weight gain during pregnancy....usually 20-25 lbs....I have had difficulty getting it off and it has crept up with each child...breastfeeding was not a weight loss catalyst for me....actually I struggled more while BFing.
My hope is to incorporate healthy habits for my whole family as we navigate the months after DD3's arrival. Luckily we are pretty active in spring/summer/fall....need to get back to more whole foods....and include good self care....I always feel like the first year is an adjustment and try to be easy on myself because I know it's going to take time :-)
I'm starting to panic about the baby coming soon....did my glucose test, rhogam and tdap shots yesterday and now I go every two weeks! We still have to buy two new cars since this baby was a surprise and our cars won't fit three car seats, I'm throwing a baby shower for my bff at 37 weeks pregnant, I work full time away from the house 50 hours a week plus I run a lularoe business on the side and I'm just beat down exhausted - the third tri has hit me hard. I felt great and was able to function on very little sleep in the second tri, but no longer. We also have to get landscaping out front since we had to pull almost everything before winter because old deep rooted trees and bushes were messing up our foundation, and we have to replace the door/lock for our front door. Oh, and taxes. Ugg. I'm just becoming overwhelmed!
sleepymonkey I wonder if the lillebaby carrier went on Lighting deal for her. I was shopping on amazon yesterday deciding what I wanted, and it was $99, then popped up for $74.99, so I bought it, and honest to goodness 5 mins later it was $99. I thought lighting deal lasted longer, that was so strange, it was up for just a minute. I am excited though
katie0919, I'm sorry that you're feeling overwhelmed. Take some time for yourself to decompress as much as you can and take things one at a time. I'm sure that you'll find a way to make it all work and it's okay to ask for help.
