To cut most of the long convo out, she made a comment that it's ok that there isn't any diversity in her kid's class next year bc "they have several AAs and Mexicans in the neighborhood."
I said, "be careful, you came very close to a 'but we know black people' comment, lol"
And then she told me everything that's wrong with me, since childhood, and that I'd never hear from her again.
Maybe I was out of line, but we've known each other long enough that she can say that to me.

She can eat a dick.
Basically she was waiting to dump all that shit on you. Nothing you said should garner that response. Fuck that bitch.
I am so embarrassed that Stassi is saying she is from NOLA. I am posting this here cause no thread.
Where is she from?
NOLA.
I just find it hard to believe she is a native but what do I know. I see nothing, Nothing NOLA about her at all. I've been feeling this way but the episode where they go to NOLA brings it out more.
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.

@wineonice Her original comment seems a bit...insensitive. Her unloading on you after your comment is way over-the-top. You don't deserve to be spoken to in that manner, and especially not by someone who should be supportive of you. She obviously has quite a few issues with you, so maybe you should do her a favor and call it quits. You don't need to have a big blow-out fight or anything, but you should strongly consider stepping back from the friendship.

That hostage grocery situation baffles me. They would give me my motherfucking purchases.
Like most things in my life, I get very flustered when people don't react how I think is normal.
I forgot my groceries and bc they knew I was there, I assumed it was NBD. Then I felt stupid when asked for the receipt I had tossed in the trash. So, technically, it's all my fault.

Hope this works because first time posting mobile. She definitely went to high school in NOLA.
Both of my kids' classes look like the UN. I think there is every color of the rainbow. EV ER Y.
Same. And so far, we have yet to meet other parents in his class that were born in America. The parents have come in and taught about different holidays, cultures, one even taught them words in Mandarin.
I love the diversity. But I feel pretty boring in comparison.
I have that in spades. I tend to embarrass myself on the regular. Dancing has never been my strong suit, tho.
I actually love to dance, specifically wedding dance. But whenever I'm in a real dance venue and it's apparent that there are grownups there that actually know how to, for real, dance to music with coordinated rhythm, I just sit myself at the kids table and observe.
I get that. I was in dance classes for years so it definitely does help.
