I'm not sure what I did because I hadn't changed my normal daily routines, but I ended up with what I am assumming were two slightly clogged ducts overnight last night. Woke up at 1:30am with major pain in my right boob and a little less pain in my lefty. I pumped every 90 minutes with my Lansinoh heat gel pad things on while massaging each sore spot and slowly worked the left one clear. Right was being stubborn so I turned the pump suction up a bit and within about 10 minutes I could feel the pain start to move through my boob until a big gush of milk started coming out and all that pain slowly subsided. I also went from barely 3oz pumped from right to over 5oz in like a minute! I hope that never, ever, ever happens again because that was awful!
Donuts and coffee to anyone who actually read all that.
I'm flying solo today. H went back to work and I'm surprisingly not scared to spend the whole day alone with Z. I was up late last night planning out how I'm hoping the day will go. We'll see if I can actually pull the whole schedule thing off, but so far my confidence is pretty high

LO likes to wait till right before I let down to fall asleep. So then his mouth fills up with milk then over flows and runs down my stomach. Thanks buddy.
Baby gas is driving me nuts. He has been grunting, crying and farting all morning, I just want to sleep!
Having the same problem over at our house as well. On top of that, we started using target brand diapers (gifted 2 boxes) and she wails whenever it's ever so slightly poopy.

LO is still gassy. I've had to wear her for most of the morning. Finally was able to put her in the swing so I could make DS and I some lunch. DS starts preschool tomorrow. I am so excited for him. The last five weeks, while I'm sure he has enjoyed little/no structure and lots of movies/iPad while we relearn how to be parents of a newborn, have really thrown him off. Andplusalso, when DS is at preschool, LO and I get to go to mommy and me barre class! Very excited for that!

I just left the chiro with not only another appointment for myself but one for my 20 month old with recurrent ear infections. she tried talking me into an appointment for B's reflux but I couldn't bring myself to do that to him yet. But I probably should.

Heard LO cry through the baby monitor this morning and immediately I thought I had spilled my coffee on myself because I was drinking it in bed. Nope, just had a major letdown that soaked my shirt on both sides... I had to get up and change and my DH was like, why is the pillow wet? LoL

"Just keep swimming" is my mantra these days.
DS is sick again. Cold and ear infection. Battling these viruses is exhausting. Is it April yet?
My DD has the greasiest hair and the worst complexion (milia). I want it to clear up! Why is it taking so long ?
DD hates the car seat and cries almost the whole time she is in it. I can't soothe her until I take her out and sometimes I feel so judged in public after I stick her in to head to the car. It might look like I'm ignoring her, but I'm not. There is just nothing I can do to fix it since she *must* ride in it.
LO must have sensed his sick momma needed rest, because he slept five straight hours last night!! And then went in 2.5 hour spurts after that, but it was so nice! Now if only I could get better. My fever won't go away. It got up to 101.2 degrees last night and the chills and body sweats are no joke. Yuck. I have to clean my bedding now today

Weird 3rd time mom question. After immunizations if LO runs a fever anyone know what it is and how long it lasts? DS2 ran a 99.2 after his and it was gone the next morning but B has been 100.6 and it's been 24 hours.

This happens to me so often that I've started to tuck a burp cloth into my shirt or nursing bra at every feeding just to cut down on the amount of laundry I have to do. I have overactive letdown, though, so I don't blame her for pulling away.

We got a ridiculous amount of snow for here last night. It's such a different experience than when I lived up north. I think at least two of our neighbors had snow plows attached to their trucks and would go around the neighborhood clearing people's driveways. Now we live in a cul-de-sac with plenty of trucks but no snow plow attachments! The main roads are cleared and just waiting for them to get to ours.

This happens more than I care to admit and I'm EPing. I go through a few shirts a day if I'm not wearing breast pads.

Me too! But I'm braless and padless most days because I like it that way...and my nips hurt

I HATE the breast pads, which is why I go through so many shirts ha ha. I usually only put them on after soaking through a few shirts. I have to guard my nips in the shower because the stream of water hurts them :/ I'm not sure how much longer I'll be pumping.

I need to get rid of the junk food in this house. Everyday 3pm comes and I crash so hard that I hit the chocolate. I'm not going to lose weight that way! I do good eating healthy food all day but ruin it by my mid-day binge.

Meeeeeeee toooooo! I've put on 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks because I can't seem to control myself. I will never fit back into my uniform at this rate. Seriously, I have 20 lbs to lose in the next month to 6 weeks, depending on when I get signed back to duty.

I hear you. The crack I had healed, but both nipples are pink and so sore. Tomorrow I'm cutting down to 7 pumps/day, hopefully that will give me some relief!
