I love love love white cabinets. I'm not crazy on the shaker-style though. I'd love to reface my cabinets and make them white.
Now that Hailey scribbled with marker on our wallpaper I'm now a bit more motivated to redo our kitchen. We would have to be creative to fund the project though and it is 100% want, not need, so I know it won't happen!
Im rewatching 30 Rock. I watched years ago and just could not get into it. I still cant. Im only on s1. I'm giving it until the end of s2 (a la Parks and Rec, Office, etc...) to see if it comes into its own by then. I dont get how people are so obsessed with this show?!
I just don't understand people who don't like Disney/Disneyworld. When people are like all meh about it, they get serious sideeye from me! (MIL is one of them)
White shaker kitchen cabinets are bo-ring and only popular because of HGTV.
I had to google "shaker" and mine aren't exactly like those, but they're very similar. I like my kitchen a whole lot and I don't think it's boring - it's neutral, there's a difference.
I do think there's a lot people have been convinced they need by HGTV. Like double sinks in the Master bath. I have never understood the appeal of double sinks.
I wish wall to wall carpeting would come back into style, at least in bedrooms. I hate getting out of bed and feeling cold wood beneath my feet. I'm in the market for a 9 x 12 area rug for my bedroom if anyone is getting rid of one.
@officedronette I was looking for the clip from Mad About You when they were both brushing their teeth in their tiny bathroom and one spits out the toothpaste all over the back of the other's head. My H is disgusting and I like having a separate sink from him. His always has toothpaste and shaving bits. It used to make me rage before we had double sinks. Now, I don't even look at his side. It's better for our marriage. We also have a lot of counter space too though, so we aren't losing anything with a double.
I had a white keep compass. It was suppose to be silver but the dealership ordered the wrong one on accident and gave us a good amount off to keep the white. I loved it and later hated the look of the silver compass.
I think it depends on the car. I have a white Volvo wagon and don't think it looks like a rental car. I used to love black cars but after having two and seeing every door ding, I like either white or silver now.
ETA: I'm AMA so it makes sense that I like white I guess

I was at a party once and Vince Vaughn was standing right behind me, a total cliche of himself with martini glass in one hand and cigarette in another. I DIED. I really wanted to talk to him, but I didn't have the nerve, so I went to the bar to get a shot/liquid courage, and when I went back he was gone and I never found him again. #regrets
MH LOVES the movie Made. He quotes it ALL THE TIME.

Oh man! Opportunity missed!!!!!!
I love The Breakup and Four Christmases and of course Wedding Crashers.
MH has the magic Man-Brain Chip that allows him to quote any movie he's ever seen, including all of my above-listed favorites
I have such a love/hate relationship with The Breakup. I love it, but it also makes me SO UNCOMFORTABLE that I can't even watch some parts. But that's the point, I guess.
I quote that movie a lot. His movies are very quotable.
